I really liked the hotel. The location is convenient - right across from the park. Breakfast: the coffee is delicious, the child liked the juice. The choice of dishes for breakfast is very extensive for me. Everything was very tasty. Breakfast lasts 3 hours, so we had time. There were no queues. We had a leisurely breakfast. Dinners: the taste of the dishes is excellent. Sufficient meat dishes, side dishes. Dishes were never repeated during the week of stay. There were no queues for dinner either, they had dinner calmly. The staff is polite and pleasant. Swimming pool: Large, clean, with all kinds of attractions. I would especially like to mention the pool employee (male). He always made sure that visitors were comfortable, turned on the bubbles in the pool, and constantly monitored cleanliness. Therefore, we are especially grateful to him for the created comfort. The sauna is comfortable (clean, heated to 90°C). It is small, but mostly I was alone in it. The jacuzzi is very warm. Rooms were cleaned daily and pool towels were changed. Very pleasant atmosphere of the hotel. Quietly.

The problem was with the sockets. For a week, I still did not understand which switches in the room turn them on. Once someone was smoking somewhere in the next room, and the smell of tobacco smoke reached us through the ventilation. There should be free access to coffee/tea or juice for dinner (because ordering for separate money is strange). But these considerations are not for criticism, but for improvement. They do not reduce the value of rest. Because we were very satisfied.

Great value for money and the food was ample and tasty. Bed was comfortable.

The rooms facing the street were very noisy and hot. I was moved to a quieter room but you could still hear the traffic. Unfortunately it was warm and there was no air-conditioning or fan. Bathroom was a bit old.

Accommodation and all inclusive dining at Ensana Butterfly was a great deal and a very very good value for money. Food was very tasty and the chef managed to serve all the variety of dishes in the buffet, so that not a single dish was served twice during the week. The afternoon/evening supply of wine, beer, and non alcoholic drinks was much appreciated. Eating out has been a bit of a nightmare in Mariánské Lázně recently, as many great restaurants did not survive covid 19 restrictions and the prices have grown quite a bit, so it was super convenient to have all inclusive, which I would recommend the coming guests to really consider buying. Staff was usually nice and attentive, with just a couple of exceptions observed during the week that I will describe in the other part of my review. Spa department and staff were just fantastic, with a nice offer of procedures, medical/spa staff were clearly well trained and I felt so pampered like never before. Hotel has its own well that you can drink and that is used for mineral baths etc. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped, and large. Majority of rooms fancy a balcony, which is lovely. Location of the hotel is convenient, on the main shopping street, a bit outside of the city centre, but not too far from the central colonnade and also conveniently close to the forest walking routes and wells. The trolleybus stop (public transport) is 30 meters from the hotel. The bus stop Tržnice (regional bus transportation) is also in the walking distance, around 500 meters away, and you can take a bus to Kynžvart castle or Kladská from there.

I noted quite a few signs showing that the hotel tries to save resources; e.g. the lobby bar only opened at the noon, while it was originally advertised that it should be up and running all day long, the hotel reception was only operational from 6.00 to 22.00, there was no minibar in the rooms, no towels available in the pool area - I would personally prefer to pay a bit more instead of running into unexpected restrictions. Staff did not act to a four star standard at times - there was one receptionist who clearly stood out and was excellent (Bedřich?), all there rest were not very attentive, almost shy or, on the opposite end, looked so angry that it turned into a joke among the hotel guests. What was however my worst experience, was the behavior of the man who was in charge of the pool area on Sunday July 24 - he was hidden in his cabin with the door closed, when I asked him whether the sauna was accessible, he first complained he could not hear me (but did not bother to open the door), then he complained that I did not greet him (I did), then he expressed a surprise that I would want to go to sauna and quizzed me whether I knew what I was doing, finally expressed his disgust with my outfit (I had my gown on), and only then pointed me towards the furthest corner where the access to sauna was located and equipped me with a sheet that was stored in a wooden cabinet next to his cabin. This was a big fail that should not happen in a four star hotel, not even in any hotel or simply in any type of social intercourse. On a positive side, he was there only on that Sunday (he was perhaps covering for permanent staff), during the weekdays, there was a completely different person who was approachable and lovely to talk to.

We chose this hotel because in the description of the hotel facilities there were kids club and babysitting services (additional charge). The latter wasn’t available at all, and the so-called kids club was just a big room with a small trampoline and a few toys. Also, the outside playground is not something that the hotel offers, it is just a part of a city park across the street. It is a good hotel if you’re traveling without kids but it doesn’t offer all the children entertainment facilities as described. Also, there were no real treatment procedures offered. When we asked at the reception we were told to visit some of other hotels around in the area.

The pool area was nice with the jacuzzi. The food was good. Nice area and very quiet.

Didn't like that the all inclusive beer and wine was only available during lunch and dinner. The Spa service was terrible. The Spa looked like you were in a rundown free hospital. The Spa lady smelled very Bad and was very sweaty and very rude. The worst experience that I had in a spa. Do not waste your money.

Rooms were large and with lots of storage space (although no coffee machine). Swimming pool was great. Location was excellent, really walking distance to everywhere in town.

The food in the breakfast and dinner buffet was very limited and it got eaten up much faster than it got topped up. Room service was well below standards (not much more than emptying the bins).

I paid for a room with air conditioning but there was no room with air conditioning. The all inclusiv package is really poor.
