Impeccably clean, great spa, super kind staff, especially Miroslav from the reception desk who couldn’t do more to make us feel at home. Comfortable and spacious rooms, great beds and bathrooms. The breakfast was extensive and delicious with an amazing choice, one of the very best we’ve ever had in a hotel. The spa area is very clean and with a lot of options. It felt a bit awkward for us to get used to this German style sauna dressing code but it actually wasn’t a big deal, just something new. All in all, if coming to this peaceful and stylish spa town, look no more - book the Falkensteiner.

Very comfortable room, apart from hard mattress. Good pillow menu. Lovely view over the valley from 3rd floor room. Excellent breakfast. Library was very nice to be in (when it wasn't too noisy!). Housekeeping and reception staff were very good.

A warm jacuzzi would be good (pools are fine after exercise, otherwise quite cool). Beds are a bit hard. Poor service at evening dining, we weren't given a menu and had no explanation of what wines were available. . There is no a la carte option for supper, so you're forced to have the full menu. Much of the hotel smells of chlorine at certain times and the noise from the bands meant those wanting a quieter evening had to go out or stay in bedroom. An option to have morning coffee or afternoon tea in the library would be nice.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Good SPA treatments “menu”, very nice location close to main railway station and the city centre. Mini bar in the room Perfect breakfasts, not bad lunches and dinners

No free tea, water or coffee during lunch and dinner. For 5 star Hotel and for all inclusive guests it is strange. Free drinks are available in spa zone, but not during lunch time… No meat dishes for lunch

The employees were great, helpful, polite and humane.The pools were exceptional, especially the outdoor one. We were given welcome drink when we arrived which was also nice. Room with many windows all around was beautiful.

Just details, rooms could be a bit cleaner. Overall it was clean but if didn't give you this sterilised feeling I would expect on a 5 star hotel, especially bathroom and bathroom walls. Nespresso machine was nice but would help to have some instructions as it is difficult to use the first time.

Fantastic hotel for families with pets. Everything was great during our stay in Marianske Lazne. All members of staff are extremely friendly and provide genuine hospitality by looking after the guests. Definitely the best hotel in town, will be back soon.

- Our room was next to elevator and was really small - Requested baby cot but we didn't get one - Booked 2 rooms and requested them to be close to each other, but for some reasons they didn't see anything in their system. So either the hotel's system or Booking.com's system messed up. Our rooms were in the same building but different floor

The staff was very nice throughout the hotel. However, I was most surprised by the balanced meals on offer (we had ordered full board). For me, it was the best meal I had in the hotel (can't expect classic Czech cuisine...). The offer of wellness and treatments was very good.

I would prefer an adults only hotel - for maximum rest and relaxation.

very nice room, restaurant, spa and bar. the food was always very tasty. nice location.

the bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. the swimm noodle at the pool were so old that there were missing pieces and colored from minerals. the only really warm swimming pool was the salt pool which was in the dark room. There were not a possibility for lunch outside restaurant hours.

- not enough showers in the pool area - not enough information in the room (restaurant menu, spa offer etc) - single-use cups in the spa area - the outside pool could be a bit warmer - no air conditioning in the room! - quite an expensive parking - I wish the young lady at the reception could be a bit nicer and at least answer to ‘hello’

The hotel is beautifully and with a great taste reconstructed a peace of art nuveau architecture.

It is not about the hotel at all, but Marienbad appears to be bit of a sleepy place these days. To find a good and lively restaurant or even a coffee in the city is almost impossible.
