Really liked this hotel. The hotel was clean, it was lovely an modern. The beds firm but comfortable. This was one of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel, so many healthy options. The gym and spa room (use of steam room and sauna) included in the stay was a great touch. The staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke great English which was helpful for us. The main train station is only a few minutes walk away and the direct AirPort Express drops off here. The hotel is really close to the national museum, and a 5-10 minute walk to the square, we weee very happy with the location. I would stay again if returning to Prague.

Only a small thing our room had a shower/bath combo. I find these difficult to navigate. Not sure you really need a bath in a hotel. I would suggest asking when booking if there are rooms available without if you are concerned about slipping.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Flakenstiener Hotel during my visit to Prague, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service, delightful breakfast, comfortable room, and the unbeatable location. Amazing Staff: The staff at Flakenstiener Hotel truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable and enjoyable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my visit, they displayed professionalism and genuine care. They were always ready to offer recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, making me feel like a valued guest. Breakfast: The breakfast at Flakenstiener Hotel was an absolute delight. Each morning, I looked forward to a wide variety of delicious options catering to all dietary preferences. Whether you prefer a hearty, continental, or healthy breakfast, they had it all covered. The fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies were a delightful way to start the day. Room: My room at Flakenstiener Hotel was a sanctuary of comfort and elegance. The room was immaculately clean and well-appointed with modern amenities. The plush bedding ensured a restful sleep, and the attention to detail in the room's design was evident. It provided the perfect haven after a day of exploring the vibrant city. Location: The hotel's location couldn't have been better. Nestled in the heart of Prague, it was within walking distance of major attractions, including Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. The proximity to public transportation made it convenient to explore other parts of the city as well. Overall, my stay at Flakenstiener Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of excellent staff, delectable breakfast, comfortable rooms, and a prime location made it an unforgettable experience.

The air condition in the room was very loud and it was not possible to turn it off - in the evening we had hard time to fall asleep due to the noise of it

Location was super convenient to get around and the rooms were very new and furnished in modern design which was lovely. The staff were also very friendly and provided excellent travel recommendations on what to do in Prague city. The breakfast spread each day was superb quality and I would advise to just eat within the hotel as its worth the money spent. On top of this, it was very clean and comfortable for solo travelers.

One point the hotel could improve is providing water bottles daily to the guests. As it was in the heat of summer, one bottle of water at the beginning of stay is just not sufficient. In Asia, especially with the hot weather, hotels provide fresh water bottles every single day. This is the only factor I see that can be improved.

The hotel was very clean and had a modern/quirky design. Location was great nearby the metro station. Breakfast had a good range of options and the outside area to eat/drink in was well designed. Great added facilities of a gym/sauna/steam room.

Some of the staff weren’t overly welcoming on the reception desk upon our arrival, and on one occasion were hesitant about serving us a drink ten minutes before the bar was due to close and ultimately didn’t, which made us feel a bit awkward. A shame as other staff provided great service at breakfast and when storing our luggage for us.

They had the best breakfast I've ever had. They had a variety of options and all vey tasty. The service in the dining room was great. The staff in the reception was amazing. They helped me with everything I needed including moving to a different room (bathtub instead of shower). The location couldn't be better (right next to the central station). They also had a great gym with water and towels.

I wasn't very fond of the fond of the food in the dining room in the evening (the service was still very good). There was a bit of confusion with the room I booked (wanted queen bed, bathtub) after I extended my stay I got queen bed with shower, and then asked to move (which they kindly agreed) and the only room available was bathtub with two smaller beds.

I have it a 10/10 except for location. And I do not mean the location of the hotel in Prague. I mean Prague itself, the city is very underwhelming and incredibly brining with herds of tourists. The architecture almost felt like I was in a Disneyland set. No locals and a lot of tacky shops for tourists. Flying half way across the world to see herds of tourist in yet another European country wasn’t a smart decision. Potato Europe does not offer too much, weather in the summer is rainy and chilly. You won’t find locals in the city center which takes over 80% of Prague. The food was ok but not memorable. This is by far one of the most overrated places I have ever visited.

The property was great tbh it is Prague the problem.

The breakfast was amazing. Far more choice than any hotel I have been in. The rooms are quite nicely designed and spacious. The gym was more than decent for a hotel gym and Monkey Bar is a great cocktail place, particularly for their peculiar cocktails that I never tasted before.

I can imagine that the party noise coming from Monkey Bar isn’t great for everyone. I didn’t mind, I would’ve liked to join but it was fully booked. The only negative I could give is that at checkin staff could inform guests that there is an event. It’s a bit weird and akward to be denied a seat in the bar of a hotel you are staying in because you didn’t make a reservation.

The breakfast was great with excellent service - the staff were very attentive. The facilities looked nice, fresh and chic. The bed was comfortable and it was a nice touch that the room provided both regular and decaf coffee pods. I also appreciated the happy hour offer provided by the hotel at the bar.

The temperature was uncomfortably warm (24C) in the room and it wasn’t possible to reduce it using the AC. Opening the window helped but that meant that the room became uncomfortably cold by the morning. This disturbed my sleep. I also have some security concerns regarding the property as it’s very easy for anyone from the streets to enter the hotel and move around unhindered. There was even a moment where a stranger opened the door to my room while I was in the bathroom. I couldn’t check whether it was member of the staff as they quickly left without saying a thing when I asked who it was. There was no cleaning cart outside the door so it’s unlikely it was the cleaning staff. I appreciate the greenery around the property, though I wish it was real plants.
