Hostel Orange

Everything was reasonably clean and comfortable, co-habitating with other guests was pleasant, no disturbing noise, etc.

The receptionists were nervous and awkward, the check-in and check-out process felt pretty unprofessional, I would expect better. If the hostel accepts card payments, they should have a card terminal, not take my card and enter my card details into the system manually, then pester me about confirming the payment on-line. Unnecessarily inconvenient for no discernible reason.

Fantastic location literally in centre, so was easy to get anywhere you wanted. The list of recommendations at reception is worth listening to, particularly for food! Rooms and bathroom were kept clean and I liked that the lockers are locked with your key card. The room itself is quite large so didn't feel cramped even with 16 (though it is Prague, so experience could vary depending on who's there).

Entry can be hard to find at first as the sign for the restaurant in the same hallway is more obvious. Top bunk is quite high up and apparently shakier (luckily did not have it). The kitchen is also more for quick meals - don't think there is a fridge - as common space is smaller.

No lift was available..One has to climb 4 floors Charging point was present at ground level bed...For first and second level bed no charging point next to the bed

The hostel was as described. comfortable ( good beds ), clean even if other travellers are really not respecting the shared facilities ( especially the bathroom ), and the reception staff were very polite and helpfull ( special recognition to Tania ) And the hotel is at a very good place in the city center.

- the bathrooms are not sufficient for the number of guests ( 2 showers per floor ) - and event if the hostel is not responsible there is only 4 small refrigerated drawers to store the guests food and my food have been stolen by someone... :( - and at last, there is no elevator and if you get the upper floor's rooms, it's kind of exhausting to climb with luggage

Location is perfect for me; close to tub station and easily access to major tourist spots. Also, staff are helpful and friendly.

Bath room is not that clean sometime as it is sharing room and many people share two bathroom on the same floor; however,staff also suggest us to use bathroom in different floor if we would like to. Also, I stayed in 3 people shared room; my staff was accidentally throw by cleaner; I believe it is because other people check and my slipper was left outside my closet so they misunderstood it

Excellent location in the old city. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable mattresses. Overall cleanliness, including bathrooms. Good security with keycard to access accommodation area, individual rooms and lockers. Small but functional guest kitchen. Good WiFi in ground floor common area. Best of all, REAL coffee free from a De Longhi coffee machine.

The hostel is in a five floor heritage listed building with rooms on levels 3 to 5. No lift, so it's a 100 stair climb to the top floor. This may not be the end of your climb - the bunks are triple deckers. Try to get in early for a bottom bunk. There are no privacy curtains on the bunks. WiFi on the top floor is weak. Hostel is not well signposted. Look for the fat soldier figure on the street outside the passage at the end of which is hostel reception.

My stay at Hostel Orange exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming host that went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The facilities were top-notch, with impeccably clean rooms and common areas. The well-equipped kitchen and cozy lounge areas. He was always on hand to offer recommendations, assist with any queries, and ensure that me and my friend felt valued and cared for. Nick, was exceptionally cordial and provided invaluable guidance on how to make the most of our short stay in the city. His insights truly made a difference in our brief visit to Prague. I can confidently say that my stay at Hostel Orange was a highlight of my trip. I would highly recommend it to any traveler seeking a comfortable, welcoming, and vibrant hostel experience. I'm delighted to share that my experience at Hostel Orange was flawless. From the warm welcome to the vibrant atmosphere and impeccable facilities, there was not a single thing I could dislike.

Location is excellent and the staff is great! It is possible to storage your luggage before check in and after check out. There is a nice kitchen and common space where it is possible to meet new people and take coffee for free. Unfortunately the guests are not always good. They leave bathroom and kitchen in disastrous condition. Almost no one is cleaning after himself/herself and big thanks to the reception guys that wash the dishes and the rest of the people which clean.

Only thing I didn't like is that there was one toilet on 4th floor, where there are more than 20 people. There are two bathrooms: 1 with toilet and shower and 1 only shower.

Great place, neat and clean, could do with a few more showers but still nice. The kitchen / common space could be a tad bigger, but still great to meet fellow travellers and get a coffee. Super close of the city center and few minutes walk from the train station. Would definitely go there again.

Some few tweaks like more toilets / showers or shelves in the shower could be nice, but they are actually rooms (bathrooms) and not cubicles so still really cool. Maybe a bit more room in the kitchen as it can get pretty stuffed when many people want to cook, yet it’s very doable.

-The bed is quite confortable. -There is power socket near the bed. I was in the room with 18 beds and I chose the one in the buttom so I had more space to put my stuff on the ground -It was so nice so have a curtain to have some privacy and dark to sleep better -The staff is friendly -It was so to have a towel -The shower is nice and big enough -The perfect location It’s hard to find at first but when you arrive to the location on Google Maps, it’s hoing to be a Czech restaurant and you go inside the hallway

The only thing that bothered me was a group who came around 10 pm and started to talk to everyone while I was sleeping even if it was quite time as mentioned in the check in so they talked for 1 hour and I had to sleep peacefully when they went out. Don’t expect to sleep before 11pm when the room is full Nothing negatif about the hostel for me
