Staff was great. Very friendly. Everything was clean. The location was perfect for our needs. Close to Universal studios, a mall, & good restaurants.

Bathrooms could use updating but room was comfortable. The only issue was the parking lot. It's very small & only 1 way in/out. We literally had to back out of it into traffic during a red light.

We stayed in room 105 ground level from 1-5 May. It was very quiet. Lovely and spacious room with two beds, a dining table, fridge and microwave, plus the safety deposit box. Lots of drawers and closet space to put your clothes A special thank you to Patricia, who ensured the breakfast room ran smoothly and her efficiency meant breakfast was served with ease and all food/drinks stayed topped up and didn’t run out. Patricia greeted us every morning with a big smile, very warm and welcoming which was very appreciated. She also gave us some very useful tips on which bus to catch for the farmers market and where to catch it (saved us a fortune in taxi fares as we didn’t have a car). Patricia is a real asset to the hotel and we would like to thank her - she was just great. The hotel is just behind the Dolby theatre and there is a quick access route to Hollywood Boulevard through a garage car park - very convenient. The hotel is also right on the Hollywood/Hyland subway line - which is also very convenient if you don’t have a car, as you can take the subway all the way to Santa Monica beach and also to Universal Studios (which is only one stop away). It’s easy and cheap to use. Forgot to mention you can also do your laundry in the hotel. It felt very safe staying at this hotel as we were aunt/niece.

Nothing to mention - all was great and we would highly recommend this lovely bijou hotel.

Everything about this hotel is amazing! Alvin at reception was great during check in. As we are first timers in the USA, he gave us helpful tips. Patricia, another hotel staff who served us at breakfast, was just as friendly! She has such a vibrant spirit and goes out of her way to ensure every guests is taken care of! I never met such friendly approachable staff! Room is spacious and bed was super comfortable. Amenities was sufficient and we had everything we needed! Self service laundry facilities, fridge etc Location is fantastic, just a street away from Hollywood boulevard; situated just behind the Dolby theatre. it’s as convenient as it gets! This hotel has everything! Will definitely stay here again in LA!

The location is great. Very near to Hollywood Walk of Fame. Room is clean and spacious.

Patricia will look after you at breakfast if you come from Australia bring a jar off Vegemite and a packet of Tim Tams and that will make her day.

Great location! Right by Chinese theater and Walk of Fame, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Universal Studios was a short drive away. Staff was great, very helpful, and Patricia who serves breakfast was wonderful! Her waffles were delicious and she treated you like family. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we loved having a kitchen to cook some of our meals. We would definitely stay there again!

Can use some updating, like more outlets and more lighting, but these are very minor issues! Would have loved if they offered liquid/flavored creamer for coffee (rather than milk or powder packets) as well as fresh fruit with breakfast. Parking lot was very small and tight, but we were able to get a spot most days, and the one time it was full the front desk staff parked it for us in their back up parking lot and then parked it back in the main parking lot the next day.

I've chosen this hotel based on location and it's really convenient especially if you are traveling w/out a car! It's about 5 min away from the subway and buses which u can use to get to most attractions. The personnel was nice, we arrived early and they allow to drop your baggage till check in. There is breakfast in the morning and a nice lady who helps with your waffles (liked them). I also enjoyed the amenities, laundry in particular! They have a self-service option which saves you money, it costs $2 per load.

Well, the room was ok, clean, with everything you need: the air conditioner, iron, fridge. The hotel isn't new, so don't expect anything fancy though the view from the room was nice! What i would have appreciated is to have complimentary water bottles in the fridge, I think it's the first hotel where I stayed in and they didn't have it.

The staff are excellent, especially Patricia at the breakfast station. But don't book this hotel though booking dot com , just book directly from the hotel's website. The location is great especially if you need to use public transportation when in LA. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast is the same every day so not much choice, but it's still good.

It is in a very noisy area (Hollywood) and the walls/doors are paper-thin so you can hear and feel everything. Book directly with the hotel though, avoid booking dot com as they are scammers, do not price match, or provide any additional services they promise.

Room was spacious, great kitchenette, wonderful free breakfast with staff on hand to help, front desk people were more than accommodating and valeted our car with no extra charge - very kind and sweet people who work here.
