Jane Q ambient, food and staff were excellent! Fantastic pizza's and sandwiches! Room was generally clean, bathroom stocked with towels. Location was fantastic and 3 blocks to Hollywood Blvd , walking distance for most general things

Hallways and rooms / sofa's were not vacuumed. Had to pay for water and wish they offered complimentary bottled water. Other amenities like arranging for car rental were not made clear and found out by fluke from the front desk but they were very accommodating and helpful! Didn't share discounts of stores in the nearby area (I spent a lot of money at Amoeba and found out afterwards they offered discounts)

Really cool lobby vibes, spacious room with couch, umbrella provided in the room, range of personal amenities that can be requested, kudos to the amazing valet staff who seemed overworked, bedside charging point, nice of the hotel to provide some F&B credits.

Some front desk staff had perfunctory attitudes, room ceiling had cracks, poor shower design meant the bathroom floor kept getting wet, no kettle or mugs in the room (coffee-maker only upon request), chargeable bottled water in room (used to be free), parking charges are exorbitant.

Easy for work travel. Clean, good room service. Food was decent. Staff were all very professional.

Sterile environment. Not the most efficient food service setup in downstairs restaurant: walk-up to order was a little slow at times. In-room dining didn’t answer the lines during 2 out of 3 mornings I was there during a work conference. Bedding was thin and a little scratchy.

This hotel was GORGEOUS!!! Had so much fun playing pool in the bar. The wine hour was a lovely bonus and the restaurant had fabulous food. We took advantage of the gym, which had a Peleton bike and decent weights and even swam in the rooftop pool, despite the rain. If you want a great hotel within walking distance of the walk of fame, this is your place! Also IDEAL if the theater is in your itinerary, as it is right down the road!!

Parking was pricy, but nice to have the valet service. DO NOT plan to park on the street.

Myself and my now fiancée travelled here as part of our dream holiday, seeing some west coast cities we dreamt about growing up! The location was perfect and just a short walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Kimpton Everly was the final stop on our vacation and was the perfect end to a perfect holiday! The room, the view and it’s amenities were beyond perfection. The facilities at the hotel were fantastic (beautiful rooftop pool and bar) and couldn’t recommend this awesome hotel enough. I had planned on proposing to my partner of 4.5 years here and had meticulously been planning this with the incredible help of hotel manager, Richard Ness. (The proposal king!). Following the big YES, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable as possible. We were accommodated and made to feel really special during our stay. We will forever hold this hotel in very high regards and we will definitely be back to the place where our lives changed forever. I cannot thank everyone at the Kimpton Everly enough for everything they have done! Thank You!

The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. The cocktail hour was a nice bonus, the bartenders were friendly and welcoming, the food was good at the restaurant, the staff was helpful and it was good (But too expensive) to have valet parking available.

Wish the pool and pool area was larger, that there were more options in the restaurant for all meals, that the pool food and drink service was better (no one came to greet us or take our order by pool several times). Would like a microwave and coffee maker in the room. Wish that parking was much less expensive

This hotel had great design. We spent time in our room and lobby and both were comfortable and well-designed. The staff were all great. And the hotel gym was outstanding, with a large collection of free-weights and machines we don't usually find in hotel gyms. And my family just loved the views of the Hollywood sign.

The location was not great. Hollywood Blvd was gross, actually. And we didn't feel comfortable leaving the hotel on foot at night. There were some fun attractions near by, and even some good restaurant choices, but we felt most comfortable getting in the car and driving to other areas for day trips.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, special and like more than just ‘another’ hotel guest. My family and I travelled from Australia for my 50th birthday vacation, and the team at the Kimpton Everly made it even more memorable. Jade at the front desk went above and beyond in every way to provide an exceptional experience for us. The complimentary coffee and tea station in the morning as well as daily social hour complete with a signature cocktail, made this hotel feel like a community. It was so nice to sit in the huge bar area with people playing pool, some working on laptops and others on holidays like us, with the sun steaming through the huge windows overlooking LA. We had a view of the Hollywood sign from our 15th floor room and couldn’t have been happier. Well done to everyone at the Kimpton Everly, particularly Jade.

Downtown LA can be confronting if you are not used to seeing so many homeless people. This is no fault of the hotel of course, just sadly a sign of the times.

Wow! Just lovely. A cool vibey hotel with lots going on in the evenings. Great location that felt safe. A short walk to the heart of the touristy part of Hollywood. We walked around until nightfall then got an Uber back to the hotel. We parked in the multi-storey car park on the corner of Argyle Ave and Carlos Ave, which worked out cheaper than hotel parking. We booked a Suite, which was perfect for us and the teens. We requested a roll out bed too as the sofa bed was too small to share. Very spacious.

Although the pool was lovely and relaxing, I felt there were very limited seating around the pool. The cabana's were extremely overpriced at $300, so weren't booked. These could have been a lovely area to chill.

This is my second stay at this Kimpton property, and the incredible location is what drew me back. As Angelenos living overseas, we are back in LA often and sometimes need a break from staying with family or friends. This property is perfectly located central to all the places we need to be in LA — right near the 101 to hit the Valley for one family, close to Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park and the East Side for the other family and our friends. Easy walk to the new Amoeba, Thai Town, the Red Line etc.

The rooms always seem way too "empty." They're large, but lacking furniture or art to fill these awkward, empty spaces. I'd have loved a comfy sofa under the window, another lamp, a more substantial desk or workstation — SOMETHING in the weird zones of the room! There was also a private pool party during our stay. Hotel guests were allowed in, but the party was nearly over when we arrived. Husband wanted to swim after it ended, but the pool looked very murky/cloudy after having drunk people paddle around in it for hours. I was pretty grossed out by it!
