Hotel was in an ideal location. Couple of minute walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Great views to Hollywood sign. We used the pool on 5th floor which was heated and nice and popped into the gym which was well equipped.

We were on 16th floor with views of Hollywood sign… the windows needed cleaning. You could still see of course, but when you’ve paid for a view, it would be good to clearly see out of them.

The hotel is very grand, is built really well, and has a great team of staff who are very helpful. It's located right near the Hollywood Walk of fame and very conveniently located near the Ovation shopping mall too, which has events now and again. It's also a 2 minute walk away from the Hollywood Highland Metro Station which is on the B-line (or red line) on the Metro. There's a rear entrance to the hotel which connects directly to the mall too, and is accessible via the Mezzanine floor (again really big and spacious area, where their conference rooms and restaurant are). I stayed on the top floor, it being 20th floor. The views were superb and I could see both the Hollywood sign and Downtown LA, I'm really happy I was provided this room. The gym is fairly equipped, and the swimming pool is warm throughout the day and night. The gym is accessible 24h a day. I didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfast buffet looked really good with a lot on offer. Also the room service menu had some incredibly appetising menus on it, I regret not trying the room service whilst I was here. Water bottles are available for free if you want, and there's a chilled water dispenser in the gym if you want to fill up. The Concierge is helpful and knowledgeable of the local area and most of the staff can also advise. Room tip: If you care about the view from your hotel, ask for a higher floor room, and with the window facing out from the entrance side of the hotel, this will enable you to see the Hollywood sign and/or the Downtown LA buildings, as well as the sunrise.

If I was to be harsh, I'd say that my room windows were never cleaned throughout my stay and I ended up cleaning them myself with a towel. Bare in mind this is me being quite harsh. Other than that one really minor thing, there's not much else I can think of that went badly here. Overall it was a success.

The location was excellent in the heart of Hollywood and near to all attractions and the hotel is attached to a mall also.

The hotel is about 45 minutes away from LAX international.The queen bed size isn’t appropriate for two adults. you end up punching each other the whole night :) .We were 4 adults and we had to get another room as it was so uncomfortable sleeping on these queen beds . The hotel parking is very expensive 60$ a day . There is an attached public parking which charge you 20 dollars every 24 hours but will charge you again if you leave and come back within 24 hours.

The location was the best. I stayed in here twice back to back. Once straight towards the end of August, the first 3 nights whenever I arrived from Germany and then in late September again for like 1 night. Cool thing is the first thing they did was upgrade me into a suit instead of a king bed room cause the room wasn’t available whenever I arrived. So that was very nice. And no they did not charge me extra. I mean it ain’t the safest spot to be honest cause Hollywood is very violent BUT the hotel has everything around the hotel so that made me really comfortable and I didn’t have to go far when I didn’t feel like walking far. The staff was really nice and helpful. The pool was nice too, sometimes it was a lil annoying that so many children were in there and they were going nuts in there (even though I love kids but I guess the parents are in charge of that 😅) Everything was in walking distance and the nice mall right around the corner from the hotel was super cool. Also the California Pizza Kitchen was one of my to go to’s. It was literally right across the street, just like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Super cool and not even a 5 min walking distance from the stars. So dope!

The view was okay, could have been better and their windows are super dirty. That was kind of disappointing but it was acceptable. It was super expensive and I’m glad I didn’t have a car with me cause I heard it was super expensive. Also you had to pay $25 extra for every day, but could use $20 of it to get some drinks and food. The only minus with that is that everything is expensive, so you’ll always have to spend money regardless. Smart trick to get you to buy something anyways lol. The in room dining was super expensive. Did it once cause I was being lazy, never again. Over $60 for a French toast, some fruits and an avocado toast that was half way burnt. Also some of the furniture was a lil run down and expected a lil bit more fancy stuff.

It's location and clean.

1. Applying and enforcing what they call "Destinations Fee" of $20 per day per room to spend it on internal options. The options were very poor and therefore I did not benefit from it. This is unacceptable. 2. Valet parking charge is very high ($62.00/day).

Loews is a decent and well priced hotel in the middle of Hollywood. It’s centrally located to walk to sunset boulevard and walk of fame. Let me start with the entrance, it has a lovely entrance with a cafe near the lobby where you can grab breakfast. Check in was super ! I was checked in by Denis. Note that with all hotels they will hold a $100 per night for incidentals whether you have paid the accommodation in full or not. It was easy to get to the room from reception. The carpets are a bit dated but I realise now that every single hotel I’ve been to in the US has carpets. The room we got was great! Junior suite facing the Hollywood sign! Thank you Daniel😉. The room was super spacious with a mini bar fridge. There was also plenty space in the closet for clothes. Plus a safe. The bathroom had a walk in vanity area then a shower with toilet. This was great as a person could shower in private while the other person gets dressed. The bed was king size and linen was crispy white. Towels were also good. There’s no kettle in the room but there is a coffee maker. Would have liked to have some hot water for tea. Besides the kettle issue, I would absolutely recommend the hotel. They have super friendly staff! Anna, with gorgeous red hair, was so helpful and explained lots of things to my partner about tours etc. The hotel also has direct access to the shopping centre which takes you to Dolby theatre so that shortcut is great. You can also catch the hop on and off bus right in front of Dolby Theatre. We also used the gym which is small but actually doesn't get that full. Overall, it is a very convenient hotel if you want to be in the heart of Hollywood. Would highly recommend. Thank you again Dennis and Annah for your excellent service.

No kettle in the room.

We had a great stay at Loews. The location was second to none and this was perfect for us because we didn’t have a long stay. You can walk right out through the mall onto Hollywood Boulevard. Bar staff and concierge gave us great recommendations for dinner and we super friendly. Free wifi was strong and the beds were very comfortable. Rooms were spacious with excellent views. The pool also is good and has a view of the Hollywood sign. We hit the gym and it had a good array of different equipment to do a whole body workout. Easy one stop on the metro to universal studios

Short distance to Universal Studios and Griffith Observatory, adjacent to Hollywood Walk of Fame via the mall, big king bed room with very comfortable sofa bed, we got a quiet room as requested, professional bellman and door man. Small free bottled water available at front desk.

The front desk ladies are lack of smiling. The agent was trying to give us a room that is not matching what we booked for. Our sofa bed does not have duvet. Called front desk in the evening twice and waited over an hour to get it.

The location was very good.

The hotel cloesed the pool for a private function and did not cmmunicate with residents to say we could not use the facilities. The price to stay was very expensive which I was happy to pay but I expected to be able to use the facilities. The local add on taxes were not advertised and these we very high as well.
