Having to pay for internet was a shock

close to airport. friendly staff, shuttle was great bonus also.

The room was big, clean. The room had a large bed, a sofa, a small table, a refrigerator. The room had pretty good soundproofing. View from the window on the runway, which is quite interesting, although the noise from the aircraft is still audible.

At the time of booking and thereafter, I was not notified that the hotel required a $200 security deposit. The deposit can only be paid by card. No cash, no Apple Pay. I arrived from a country whose cards do not work in the USA, so they did not want to check me into a hotel. Moreover, the hotel staff did not try to solve this problem in any way.

Our stay was great. There was a small hiccup at the beginning. Our bathroom hadn’t been completely cleaned. When I called the front desk they immediately offered us a new room. We were heading to an event so the concierge helped move our belongings for us. The second room was impeccably clean. The beds and pillows are the most comfortable. Customer service was excellent from all staff on the grounds. We felt welcomed and safe for our entire stay. We highly recommend this hotel for travelers.

Our only complaint is that the city view (DTLA & Hollywood sign) is obscured by dirty windows.

Facilities were just fine. Hotel is convenient to the Kennel Club of LAX where we boarded our 4 cats overnight. The restaurant met our expectations.

Not sure this can be easily fixed as the hotel is just outside the immediate location of the airport hence with traffic coming into Bradley International terminal it makes it very long to wait for the shuttle. Plus, if you are arriving with luggage either coming or going out of the international terminal you need to get off or on before the terminal departure area which makes it a big hardship if you are traveling with luggage and in our case three animal crates. Very challenging for us especially coming from very far away in the Mideast.

We stayed here on a layover from Australia to Minnesota. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was convenient. Everything was clean, comfortable and in working order. We were given adjoining rooms as requested. An airport shuttle was provided to travel to and from the hotel.

The only disappointment was that they did not provide or offer cribs or pack'n'plays. I could not find a LAX hotel near the airport that provided such a convenience.

This is a big hotel and because of it's location, busy 24 hours a day. That said checking in wasn't hard, long or difficult and considering we booked it an hour before arriving we were very happy with the service. We had dinner in the restaurant because we were tired. Food was excellent, tough a little expensive (I think that's more a cultural thing) but the service was great. Cocktails were very tasty. We paid for parking, which again, I think was a little expensive but it is attached to the hotel and convenient. The room was wonderful, in excellent condition with all required attachments. The bed was huge and so, so comfortable. The bathroom was big and in great condition. Room service was magnificent. The only hotel we stayed in that did a daily clean. It was fantastic, but...

You have to pay for Wifi? Really, in this day and age? Although we had daily cleaning, the towels were not up to the standard expected. We had only one towel on check in and had to ask for more. When the towels were delivered, which was quick, I went to use one and found that it still had large makeup stains on it. A towel several days later had huge holes in it. Well past it's use by date. This was really the only negative.

The location and the ability to park my car there while gone.

The shuttle took at least 45 minutes to pick us up from the airport. Then the driver took other passengers to a different hotel before taking us to the Westin. Our flight got in at 11:42 and we didn't get to hotel until about 1 :30 am. Then they couldn't find my reservation. It was at least 2 before we got to our room. The gal who "helped" us didn't tell the room number, just gave me the keys and said fifth floor, elevator is over by the brown area. We didn't get to sleep until at least 3. Asked for a late check-out due to the extenuating circumstances and they said to check in the morning. The day manager turned us down. We woke up at 9:59 am and had to be out at 11. They could have given us an hour!

Very convenient to LAX - if that's what you need. We were very pleased with the room, very comfy, and ready when we arrived.

Better bathroom amenities.
