Quality Inn Tucumcari

we are snowbirds, making cross country trips twice each year. we have stayed here probably 20 or more times. the staff has changed of course. always helpful.

the first room we were given didn’t look like the sheets had been changed, the fridge door wouldn’t close, the freezer was frozen solid. Gerald moved us and the room was Perfect 👍

It was a spacious room. Well appointed. It was on the first floor which I needed to accommodate my mobility issues. It was a peaceful setting but very accessible by road. After a long day on the highway, it was a nice oasis to arrive at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent refrigerator and microwave. Super comfy beds and pillows. TV worked very nicely. Quiet setting.

The facility in general was clean, but our room had smudge prints all over the door jams and light switches. I had to clean them with disinfectant. It certainly didn't pass the snuff for COVID, as it should have. The room did have a pleasant smell, but the bathroom was dirty, had no toilet paper (which I had to go get personally from the office) and there were no toiletries, not even to wash hands. No basics. I think hopefully this was an over look, or perhaps they are understaffed and running short on those finer details. This could be a very nice facility to arrive to, otherwise.

The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. They had a large breakfast area and served the standard hotel buffet breakfast.There was something for everyone. They had a nice pool area with a gazebo and grassy area for relaxing or play. The location was close to I40 but you could not hear the traffic. For the price, it was a good deal.

In my opinion, smoking should not be allowed right outside nonsmoking rooms or areas. Having to walk past smokers to get into the lobby or having neighbors sit and smoke right outside your door is not pleasant. We also had an odd assortment of towels while we were there. I think they could invest in some new towels.

Everything the price the cleanliness of the rooms the wonderful wonderful cleaning staff we met Donna she's absolutely a joy she cleaned our room and was just such a gthat's a great wonderful personality to talk to we really enjoyed her a lot and the front desk staff was better the 2nd time around when we stayed the 1st lady was not very personable but she was nice nothing negative.. You definitely want to stay there a lot of older clientele stay there around our age I would say anywhere from fifties and up and there's also a couple of families it was extremely safe and inviting They have everything that you need to have a comfortable stay.

Nothing always a pleasure to stay here!

The location. Easy to get to the highway.

The night clerk was absolutely 💯 % RUDE. We were tired, late (2 AM) and he was downright RUDE informing us we had to have a mask on to be in "his" lobby. The room had not been serviced, there was trash in the waste can, sink had hair and beds had obviously been sat on or laid on. Due to driving in from Vegas, and the fact that the clerk had already said he'd turned people away (over booked) we slept in our clothes and left at first light.

The night staff were persistent and personable in guaranteeing a clean room for us despite computer issues snd a full house. Location and breakfast were super! Room supplies needed closer attention (like coffee pot) although we understand that is more than likely due to understaffing as a result of Covid and government stipends.

Coffee pot was missing tray for coffee filter/grounds, which rendered it in-usable and mainly decaf was used. Plumbing in shower was lose from the wall which didn’t look attractive and was open for bugs.

Breakfast was good. Wish there were non pork meat options.Location was.not close to food options, had to travel very dark freeway. Just a few miles away. Staff was great.

More Cleaner softer Towels. At Least 4 face towels for two people. Shower was 3 out of 5. But it got the job done.

Right off of I-40 very convenient location, next to a small fuel station but not at the noisy side of town. Housekeeping was helpful and explained the parking locations. (plenty of space here) The Hotel was not noisy, but maybe weekends and the summer traffic would be much louder than it was for me. Sound sleep, clean room, laundry and hot breakfast served at this location.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable, newly remodeled very nice. The breakfast was hot with lots of choices from waffles to eggs, sausage, potatoes. Cold items, cereal, yogurt and many other choices. The coffee was great and very hot. The front desk employees and the gal tending the breakfast area were all very professional and happy people. Enjoyed our stay very much. Close to the highway. Also had the best steak ever at Del's (just down the street) go get you some lemon pie!

They told us the pool was open. When we arrived we found they were still prepping it😒

I liked the room, clean, comfortable and quiet. I got a good nights sleep and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would’ve liked the pool if I had time to use it.

the breakfast was appreciated but I didn’t care for powdered scrambled eggs, tater tot’s nor the sausage. Perhaps a poor choice for on my part.
