This is perfectly located for access to the M25, leading on to where I was working. Travelling by car for work, car parking can be expensive, but this is never a problem at this hotel, with complementary parking provided to guests, its one less thing to worry about.

There wasn't anything that the staff could have done better, always a warm welcome here. One area the Accor Group, of which IBIS are part, is to update and decorate. This hotel whilst clean and tidy, would benefit from some modernisation.

Very clean room. Kettle, shower, glasses were spotless. bed firm but comfortable for me, but bedding had a strange sour smell, also faint smoke/tobacco odour perhaps? Bar/food service was great, food tasty and hot with quick service. I liked the business area with quick charge points.

Shower water pressure was low. I worked a lot from my room (due to the confidential nature of my work) I found the chair very uncomfortable. Lack of plug socket next to the bed (for charging phone) was disappointing. Check in was a little odd, staff member didn't offer a greeting or any information other than - here's your key. It would have been good to know meal times, check out time etc.

Friendly welcome at Reception. Clean and comfortable room. Only a short walk to town centre.

Had to keep window closed to shut out traffic noise as my room faced main road. Air con very noisy so kept it switched off. TV needed retuning as lots of channels have changed and I couldn't watch my favourite channels. The TV menu, guide and listings etc were all in a foreign language, needs to be changed to English. I mentioned this to receptionist when I checked out and suggested she inform the manager but she didn't seem bothered.

As usual in this type of hotel rooms are basic, the bed was comfortable, good shower and washing cubicle. Easy entry to the shower for my wife who has mobility problems. the room had adequate heating.

Casual seating should be more comfortable. T V too small. Breakfast only basic. Having to pay an extra £20 to have the room early was not good, seeing as the room was empty anyway. Having travelled for four and a half hours in rainy conditions we were ready just have a short chillout as soon as soon as we arrived, rather tan sit in the car looking at rain.

I've done some research before I picked ibis Borehamwood. Lots of previous visitors recommended it, and I found that the experience of staying here was as wonderful as I've expected! I've stayed here for more than a month. All the staff are nice and helpful. On the first day, I found that the hair dryer in my room didn't work. After I've mentioned to the staff, they responded promptly and changed another one for me. My room was kept cleaned everyday. The breakfast buffet was full of different delicious food, so did the other dishes provided throughout the day (I always had my dinner here even though there were also lots of different restaurants about 10-min walk away )! The bed was comfort. The location was convenient and I always felt safe walking around. You could find Tesco, McDonald's, local restaurants in Thai, Chinese, English styles etc nearby. There was also a shopping park, library, grocery stores and other facilities for daily needs and all were within 10-min walk distance! Thank you for all the staff for giving such an excellent experience staying here. (Nice talking with Silvia, one of the lovely staff, when I checked out. And YES, I will definitely visit again and hope to see you all lovely people very soon :) THANK YOU!

My room is just next to a road and it was a bit noisily during the busy hours, but for me, it's at an acceptable level.

I stayed here before when last in the area and rebooked again because of the nice experience. It did seem more pricey than last time, but perhaps as it was still the last days of August and a peak season. The bed and bathroom are very comfortable, facilities and cleanliness great and the staff really helpful, especially the Spanish lady on duty in the morning. Didn't have time for breakfast this trip so I can't comment. The staff ordered me a taxi to Luton airport the night before. The driver arrived on time and was great.

Support was instant and room an apt one. Staff was ready to help-when I didn't find my vegan burger patty taste veggie they immediately replaced it with another meal for my satisfaction.

Breakfast can have variety and more inter-cultural options because when we are travelling for long we do miss a hearty meal and this regular standard breakfast on everyday basis is monotonous at times.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and totally professional. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they were able to assist in so many ways. In particular, I'd like to mention Sharon at reception, who really does an outstanding job giving a warm and friendly greeting to guests. The cleaning staff also do an excellent job and the room was spotlessly clean. Well done to everybody at Ibis, Elstree/Borehamwood.

Very helpful staff. Loved the room and facilities. Easy to use TV. Location good, parking good. Appreciated the room being serviced every day. Would stay again - really enjoyed our stay.

There was only one litter bin provided in the bathroom which we moved to the main room daily - so would have been better with 2. The keycards didn't always work - especially at the lift which was later able to be used without the card. Keycards for room had to be re-programmed a few times.

A good place to stay if you're looking for something reasonably priced and if you're not fussed about staying at a 'boujee' hotel. Friendly staff who were accommodating when I asked to be changed to a quieter room. The location was very good. 10-12 minutes walk away from the high street where you can find many shops and food places. I was pleasantly surprised by the location and convenience of having so many shops close by. Elstree rail station is about 20 minutes walk or a short bus journey. Plenty of parking. I'd definitely stay here again.
