Every thing good

Some employees smoke behind the hotel and the smell of smoke enters the rooms on the first floor. I could not sleep from this smell and I reported this to the reception

Harish, the receptionist at Ramada South Mimms, provided exceptional service during my stay. He was welcoming, professional, and went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made a big difference, and I truly appreciated his efforts. Highly recommend his service!

The room at Ramada South Mimms was generally comfortable, but the showers felt quite outdated and could use some improvements. It detracted from the overall experience, and a more modern setup would definitely enhance the stay.

Large room. Warm and clean. Helpful staff. Excellent location, with lots of facilities on the doorstep including Pizza Express, various fast food outlets, and small shops. Lift up to first floor was hany with all my luggage. Free parking was great. Excellent access to/from the A1(M) and M25.

Finding my room was "interesting" as the room number was not included on signage when I got to the top of the stairs. There was as housekeeping cart in the hallway when I arrived and when I left - I suspect it had not moved during my stay and it would have made disabled access or emergency escape difficult.

The rooms were clean & comfortable & all had fans, which was a nice unexpected extra. The staff we met were all very friendly & welcoming.

It was difficult to check out as there was nobody on reception & nowhere to safely leave your room keys either so we had to wait around a bit for somebody to show up. We weren't in any particular rush so it wasn't an issue really, we were just concerned we'd get charged for late check out if nobody had arrived. Also, the hotel refunded me & retook the money in the middle of the night which was very strange.

This hotel was exceptional particular staff/ manager her name was Agnes. She was very helpful compassionate and caring. My self my son and partner stayed here for one night only. In the early evening of our stay my partner became very unwell. He was up all night with sickness and dioreaha. In the morning I reported this and asked If i could pay for another night as he could not move in agony and I didn't want to try and leave as he could not stay out of the bathroom for 24hrs. Usually check out is at 11am and check In is 3pm she let my partner stay on without moving room. He was so poorly and unable to leave and the fact she let us stay on with no extra charge of early check in or late check out. Agnes gave us the room for only £67 which was very kind of her. She very kindly provided me with extra cleaning facilities and towels and toilet roll. The morning after my stay I had a bad nights sleep due to noisy neighbours upstairs above our room. And also in the morning there was a power cut and I had to use the torch on my phone to get myself which I am 7mths pregnant and my 7 year old son ready for school in the dark the bathroom was pitch black. When I reported this to her she had been Very apologetic and offered me 50% the nightly rate paid. So she had refunded me £20 as we initially paid £40 was very polite of her. I highly recommend this hotel for its services, cleanliness and location . I would defiantly stay here again and stay here instead of any other local hotel. Very satisfied customer.

Sometimes at night you can hear the lorry Exeter the car park .

Breakfast was well, it has enough food. you have to go shopping center where is located next to hotel for breakfast. I suppose otel has agreement with breakfast restaurant. Receptionist gives a voucher for breakfast, and you have breakfast with voucher. Parking: you register your car plate at the reception and you don't pay anything for parking. You have all that you need in the room...

otel needs renovation. it is a little old.

The hotel was a functional experience. The staff that greeted us were friendly and efficient but generally, the bedroom was very tired and in need of some TLC. Saying that it was perfectly clean, warm, and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Staying here after visiting our Son and family in Barnet meant that on heading home the next day we escaped a days ULEZ charge so I can see us staying more often. One good point was that there was an excellent choice of Breakfast outlets within Welcome Break Services.

As mentioned a bit of a room makeover would be good

The staff were the best especially Sara on reception who dealt with our room booking problem. She made sure it was sorted ,thank you again. All staff were helpful as the room maid did help too when we asked her . 10 out of 10 to all staff. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Location was perfect as tube station was a 7 minute drive away. Restaurant and coffee houses next door for refreshments in.

The room was not especially clean , carpet needs hoovering around wall edges. Bathroom expel air conditioning can not have worked for a long time as black damp marks on the ceiling and condensation was all over the mirror. Bedroom window was wood and rotting. Also no towel radiator in bathroom which is strange as it's not a old building

The location was really good. Lots of parking and right next to lots of food options. Very close to where I needed to visit the next day as well.

The room was incredibly hot when I entered. The windows don’t open very wide (understandable) but it it was uncomfortable. Luckily there was a large fan provided and I could turn down the heating at the radiator, so those really helped to make it cooler.

Location was fantastic as I didn't have far to travel to get to my destination, the carpark was ideal and I didn't have to pay for it. There was some good facilities including toilets, takeaways and rest areas.

There was only 2 slight problems, the first being you only get 1 pillow per person in your room,I did ask for another one but unfortunately It never came, and the second problem was the breakfast- it states that it costs £10.00 per person for breakfast but in actual fact the breakfast is only £7.49 per person so booking puts on a little extra charge to cover their costs but this is not specified.
