Bell boys upon arrival fast & friendly taking our bags to check in - check in was the same. Our bags were taken to our room on the 7th floor & we were met with amazing views of the river. A massive bed which can only be described as a Super King. The room amenities are great - there is a mini car & plenty of space in wardrobe & bathroom is well served with shampoo conditioner, body wash & lotion and all the other little things you might need. 2 bottles of water every day. Street noise or corridor noise not an issue. Breakfast is impressive & caters for all types of food options. We had pizza one night in the Italian & spent a few afternoons by the pool. All of the staff were friendly & efficient. There is a gym & plenty of outdoor seating & lounges. Bar service in the lobby area is very good. House cleaning is exceptional. The pool area is well serviced by pool attendants for access to lounges & towels on several occasions (over several days) when needing to get a drink or food from the bar staff we had to go inside only to find they were on their phones & ability to understand English was a challenge at times . There is a lack of poolside service & cleaning of tables after eating, we had to take it inside ourselves after about 15 mins & had to continually ask for ice to be brought out on an exceptionally hot day. The hotel location is good -it’s within walking distance to many sights or a few $$ by grab to the key locations such as markets & imperial palace. Toilets & public areas always spotlessly clean. Overall a highly recommended hotel despite a few minor issues poolside.

The location was good, but it took a good 10-15 minutes before you reached the more central locations in the city. The view towards the river was amazing, though. Breakfast was outstanding, with local and international options. The staff was incredible. Because our daughter is named like the hotel, the staff gave her small presents with the hotel name on them. She is playing with those all the time; it was such a nice gesture!

The rooms were great, but for a 5-star hotel, you'd expect them to be just a little bigger, a little more luxurious. But in terms of quality and cleanliness, there was certainly nothing to complain about!

-The staff are very friendly and helpful. MiA and Hart took time to upgrade my room for a much better view and helped book all the services I need. I appreciated their gestures a lot. - Room is compact but has everything you need. Amenities are of high quality. I noticed their hairdryer even has a difuser. Very thoughtful touch. - Bed was so comfy. I had a great nice sleep - The view is amazing, both during the day and night. Thanks again for the room upgrade. - The high-tea was nice. Their portion was huge. It could literally serve as a late lunch. The tea was good, and the cakes are all nice. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay

Lotta hotel is located facing the river.It is a few minutes walk from the main busy area of district1. We were allocated a room on 16th floor with stunning views of the river with access to the club lounge. Our checkin and out was from the club lounge.we were very well looked after by all the staff . Plenty of drinks, choice of spirits and food is available in the club lounge. My wife is vegetarian and the staff did their upmost to meet her needs .They ensured that vegetarian food was available for her.Complimentary birthday cake and flowers in our room were very much appreciated . The lobby is huge and very welcoming. The pool area is quite big and ample of sun beds. Bottle of water each is provided at the pool .Breakfast is varied and plenty of item to choose from. It took us about 8 minutes to walk to the opera house and Ho Chi Minh statue using the rear exit of hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. Thank you all at Lotte to make our stay enjoyable. Really appreciate

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are really clean. The river view is excellent. It is very close to the central areas. It is easy to get around by foot. The staff are very helpful.

The showers are difficult to operate, I would imagine it would be harder for many elderly people. Particularly, the shower is located at an awkward height above the bath. You need to jump into a bathtub, and turn the valve to direct the water to the shower head. All the water does not get directed to the shower head, so you have the bath tub filling up halfway up your legs while you have a shower. It is not ideal. You have to be super careful not to slip or fall. There are some really nice open spaces. But you have to buy a drink or dinner to enjoy the spaces which I think is a shame.

The breakfast was excellent. However on the 2/3/24 Iwe had to leave for an important engagement at 6am - therefore not having our PAID breakfast. We returned at 12pm - I asked the lady at the front desk if we could have lunch as we missed our paid breakfast; she replied no . I felt that she was being harsh and had a “too bad “ attitude.

I prepaid for 4 breakfast and 4 nights accommodation. I was unable to have breakfast one morning on 2/3/24 same with my husband - the hotel should have accommodated us with lunch instead as I had paid for two breakfast I did not have

Almost everything. Room was a bit small at the hall way but vintage vibe. Amazing view, Bed was massive. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Especially Bellman team and F&B team at the buffet restaurant.

Soundproof was not very great. We can hear people laugh or talk at the corridor. Food was 7/10 at the breakfast buffet and even at the wedding banquet. Pool was too much chlorine, my husband skin was inflamed.

The hotel was gorgeous and we had a lovely hotel room overlooking the river. A pretty pool, the staff was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a really nice stay.

We would have loved a rooftop view over the city, but the upper floors were the executive suites. And it's about time for the rooms to get an update.

We stayed in a Club room which offers access to the executive lounge with facilities such as private check in, all day refreshments, and evening happy hour which includes a small snack dinner. This suits our holiday style perfectly as we like to eat out for lunch and snack for dinner. For us, this is a perfect arrangement. The hotel, although getting on in years, is sill luxurious. breakfast, pool facilities and in house restaurants are all great.

We don't believe they could do any better, but we'd appreciated a slightly lower price - as would most people. Rooms size is a little small, but well appointed.

The breakfast selection was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The coffee however didn't taste that great (not perculated). Location was good with river at the front. About 15-20mins walk from the main centre.

We weren't told that the pool would be closed for renovations and if I had been advised of this before/leading up to our stay then I would have chosen to stay at a different hotel as we really wanted to have a hotel with a pool especially when we were travelling during a really hot time in HCMC (35 degrees Celcius or higher). It was really disappointing to be told at time of check-in.
