We loved the location! It was right at the end of the Zona Colonial walking street. We ended up arriving late and didn’t get there until 4:30am. They have someone at reception 24/7 and buzzed us right up. The room was lovely. We booked the Deluxe Balcony Room. It had lovely chandeliers, a King size bed, and a big balcony with chairs. We loved waking around Zona Colonial and being able to come back for naps. We felt super safe there! The breakfast was yummy too and the staff were incredibly helpful. We loved it so much we booked it for our final night in the DR too.

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and attentive. Many thanks. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and were able to pay in cash/ US dollars when our cards did not work on their card machine. We were given a lovely breakfast in a wonderful outdoor seating area covered with trees. The hotel is well situated in the centre of town. Nice warm shower and effective air conditioning. Staff kindly booked a taxi to take us to the airport.

Mosquito bites. There was no glass/netting on the window in our bathroom. I forgot to apply sufficient anti mosquito spray.

Breakfast was great,(included in price). Staff was helpful and cleaning was very good.

Neither photos nor description told us about 1-1/2 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. All of us are about 70 and climbing these stairs was an issue after a day of walking around the city. We would have booked elsewhere if we had known this. Also, we think we were charged slightly more than we were told.

the hotel is directly at a pedestrian road which is quite quiet during the night, in the middle of zona colonial. we had the rooms w balcony and liked them a lot. I am vegan and I received toast with avocado for breakfast - very nice . the bar in the hotel is open 24/7. there was good wifi and hot water

nothing to complain about. if, then that the installation in the shower could need a handyman /renewal as the handles were quite loose and we were afraid of breaking them.

The coffee and breakfast were great as was the service. The desk attendant, Roger, went above and beyond to help us with taxis and recommendations and phone calls as he was bilingual and we spoke little Spanish. The location is really good in a convenient and safe area. The AC works very well and is very nice after the heat outside. Hotel itself is very pretty inside with a little courtyard. We even saw hummingbirds visiting while having breakfast.

Room was a little small and we had some small issues with mosquitos, however bug spray is easily purchased at the pharmacy next door.

Great value for money. Very conveniently located next to the walking street in the colonial area next to restaurants shops and sightseeing. Basic room with comfortable bed, and daily cleaning. air conditioning, a safe, full bathroom, Lovely breakfast of omelet or egg and sausage plus fruit juice and coffee. Helpful friendly staff. I would stay here again.

No window but expected that, few minor repairs needed but nothing that inconvenienced us.

We stayed here for 3 nights earlier in our stay and liked it so much we booked it for our last night in the DR. This time we booked the standard room for two. We didn’t mind not having any windows as the ceilings were super tall and we just needed the space for sleeping. Absolutely recommend staying here!

Hotel Class Colonial is a very simple, yet amazing and hidden gem right in the center location of the Colonial Zone, my girlfriend and I were there for two nights. We really enjoyed the facilities. A small hotel, that serves its purpose of giving you a warm and cozy stay in Santo Domingo.

The breakfast was very good. A nice selection to choose from. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very kind and went out of way to make the stay as nice as possible.

It was all as was described. There was nothing that I found I disliked.

The breakfast is very good, a lot of fruits, juice, tea and bread (we don't like eggs, but they make it also). Room has not refrigarator/fridge, but they allow us to use one in the kitchen. The biulding is very old and has a high ceiling, that is amazing!

Location is just at old historical center, therefore parking car on street is very difficult. But there is a private parking lot a block near hotel (U$ 6 by night).
