The Westin Cairo Golf Resort & Spa, Katameya Dunes

The hotel is amazing, the space, the rooms, the walking track. I had a great stay. My room was super spacious (I upgraded for a fee because I wanted an early check in). The restaurants offer great food choices, the rooms offer good privacy, the pool area is big and a lovely place to relax and the bar offers beautiful views of the golf course. If you're looking for a luxury stay in Cairo, this is it. I also requested a late check out and they accommodated me until 2pm.

A little far but that was not a negative really as I enjoyed the quiet. This is just a note for those who may want to be closer to museums and other attractions

Only it’s far too for city center and Nile cafe and restaurants

The staff were all amazing, the facilities, the management, everything were so amazing and am assured that hotel will be my permanent place for all my up coming visits. I would like to give a special thanks for the staff who really empressed me during my stay : 1) Mr. ABDELFATAH The manager over there he has offered me with a great rate and my stay were unforgettable because of him. 2) Mr. Mark and Mr. ESLAM the front desk officers , very well trained and very polite and professional. 3) Mr. SAMEH the concergue manager his quick response and helpfull way went beyond my expectations. 4) Mr..Mustafa yonis the housekeeping Manager , his daily check up and follow up In personal gave an amazing feeling . 5) Mr. MOHAMED SAMEER the good and most polite staff that work hard , fast and in silence... All over all big thank for all the staff and I hope this place will sustain as it is.

- The Room MiniBar was Empty. - Paloma Restaurant is average. - There was a Huge Bug in the bathroom. Annoying but we dealt with it. - We were put in a room next to a room that was used by a Bride. In the morning it was very noisy and they had TENS of friends coming by. Which was noisy as well as awkward when coming in and out the room. Thankfully they were more not very noisy at night otherwise I would have demanded a different room on the spot. It’s annoying that the hotel didn’t try to put us in a different room given that the hotel wasn’t at full capacity

The room was extremely large, furniture is new and modern very sleek. There's a large balcony attached to the room and a very nice big bathroom as well. Staff is very nice and professional they were also super quick to help whenever we called. Super Super clean even the reception smells fresh.

The only thing to keep in mind when booking a hotel in New Cairo or the 5th settlement is that it is not close to the popular Egypt attractions. I wouldn't say I did not like the hotel for this as I wanted to stay in this part of town but it is something to keep in mind considering the traffic in Egypt and the long distances you'll drive.

The hotel facilities is really good, swimming pool, gardens, golf fields, even the breakfast restaurant was good and the food in Breakfast buffet was really good

The house keeping, the valet parking staff, the Golf Car drivers they all seems angry when you don’t give them any tips as it’s something obligatory and it’s not a service that comes with your stay. YOU NEED TO GET RID OF THIS STUPID MINDSET, it makes Egyptians and Foreigners really sick of the staff attitude.

every one was so hospitable the rooms are very clean the food is great spa is amazing!

everything was great really except for that one time where the security guard stoped me and my husband while we were going to our room saying that our room was booked as a 1 adult only room implying that my husband and i were not together and then we asked him to check with the front desk and when he did he found out that he was mistaken and apologied politely. No big deal we understand the guy was only doing his job it was just an unexpected miscommunication between reservations and security which put us at an awkward position.

What a wonderful resort, just 20 minutes away from our home in El Rehab! I loved the gorgeous room decor, the greenery everywhere, the lovely pools, the delicious food and the laidback yet luxurious vibe. And the lights on the water and in the gardens at night were simply magical! The staff were very accommodating and generous with their service. They looked after our party very well. I’m glad we spent Eid there as a family.

Price was steep but comparable with international resorts.

The layout, the landscaping, the pool and golf course views from our 1st floor balcony, the adult only section of the pools, the pool area was beautiful, the large number of food options at the breakfast buffet, the lounge seating off the lobby to watch golfers at 9 & 18, the friendly and helpful staff, the Iftar buffet spread…pretty much everything.

ordering food and drinks poolside wasn’t quick. took a long to get a menu after requesting it, then a long time to come back and take the order. but the food was GOOD.

A very respectful gentleman (Mr. Karim) knew that this was my mini honeymoon so he helped me whenever i wanted something and everything was very fast and high quality.

Seafood meal is really bad the shrimps' shell is stuck to the shrimp itself and the estakoza was really bad not oven medium rare it was raw just fried from the outside the smell was awful
