The facility was amazing the staff went above and beyond. You really got more then you paid for. Mahmoud at the restaurant bar was amazing serving us with a smile and a joke everyday. By the pool we were greeted by Hossam serving us great drinks that weren’t on the menu to our liking, even Hamed our room attendant was superb and went above and beyond he came everyday and found us outside the hotel room to ensure we were well taken care of with towels water tea and coffee. Really respected our privacy it was very appreciated. From the reception staff, to the bar tenders this hotel was truly a home away from home with fun and relaxation at your fingertips. Thank you everyone!

We spent our winter holiday here between 9-16th December. Everything was perfect, we had an amazing holiday. 😊 The hotel is beautiful and super clean, looks exactly the same as on the pictures. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty and every day we had something different on the table such as Mexican, Chineese or seafood etc.. There is a vibrant sealife here so we really enjoyed the snorkeling and diving. If you don’t want to be bothered by sales activity on the beach please note that at the towel centers you can take a red ’do not disturb’ sign so you can have rest peacefully 😊 We would like to say thank you to ALL the staff who work here, special thanks to Matrix and Aziz for amazing work and to the whole animator team for fantastic shows everyday and making connection with all guests. Thanks to Ahmed for cleaning room 3223; to receptionist colleagues who moved us to the most quiet room upon our request and let us check-out late for free of charge; all the waiters and chefs; to Hassan for the morning omlets and afternoon pizzas that was prepared with a nice smile all the time. The middle-aged bartender at the lobby bar was quite unpolite to us several times for no reason and the coctails were very bad. We got much more better drinks from the young bartenders at the Olympos bar. The wifi is very poor like in every hotel in Egypt, but at the airport/in the town you can buy a sim card for a good price and internet issue is solved.

We went here in the middle of December and we got the honeymoon suite. The highlights: 1. Service: the staff are amazingly attentive, they anticipate your needs and are available day and night. Everyone is extremely polite. A special mention to Ahmed, who was cleaning our room and every day he left us a sweet little surprise. Animation is present without being too pushy. 2. The structure itself. I will be honest: it was my first time at Sharm and I was expecting something tacky. The hotel is instead a very nice structure, sober and sparkling clean. The swimming pools are great, especially the two heated, and the beach is big enough with very comfy sunbeds. 3. The room (3220). Our room was so spacious, bright and modern. The view on the sea unbelievable. Besides this, I d like to mention that we bought the tour to the national park and the white island including diving and it was great. Small group, clean boat, nice and prepared instructors. Totally recommended. We also bought the spa treatment: the pharaohnic massage was a dream! Rehab and Moham have blessed hands. Ask for them. The food was overall ok considering the Egyptian standard: best we had in Egypt actually. The buffet is reach and with enough variety. Alcoholic beverages could use a little upgrade. Summarising, everything was excellent. We relaxed, recharged, got pampered and enjoed the stunning red sea. Great value for money.

The only two small negative things to mention: sometimes in the room area there was a pungent, unpleasant smell, and there were a litte bit noisy construction works on the premise.

Being our first time to visit this hotel we needed some reassurance about making the right choice when you need to spend a comfortable and enjoyable holiday,and from the first moment we met Mr Mohammed Nabeh at the reception we felt at home! He made everything so easy and enjoyable with exceptional experience in customer service, coming to our rooms 1321,1316 to find it spotless,very clean,exceptionally tidy and stunning surprises with towels ,thanks to Aziz at room service( best ever),then the restaurants ,Chef Amir and Chef Mostafa are so welcoming, great taste ,variety,and presentation. The whole team were so helpful,polite welcoming and so professional in work they do ,we were so sad to leave as we were leaving, we miss everyone and sure we will be back. We strongly recommend this hotel ,if you want to feel at home while you are well looked after.thank you our new family at Albatros Grand Royal hope to see again 😊

Having to leave !😢 The entertainment needed more Arabic components

Beach and pools were adequate, clean and tidy. The pier at the sea is at a far point from the center of the hotel, just a little uncomfortable. Restaurant and other bars were adequate and nice. Food was varied and meeting expectations. Front office staff are very hospitable and helpful.

WI-FI internet connection is very bad and constantly disconnected. It should be considered as a very urgent and important issue and should be fixed. Unfortunately, the internet connection is very weak and unsuccessful, neither in the rooms nor at the reception or anywhere else. There is nothing else that I don't like.

I recently stayed at the Pickalbatros Royal Grand Resort in Sharm El Sheikh and overall, I had a pleasant experience. My room, 1320, was particularly noteworthy as it was spotlessly clean thanks to the efforts of the housekeeping staff, particularly Aziz. He did an exceptional job of keeping my room tidy and comfortable during my stay. The facilities at the resort were also impressive. There were several swimming pools to choose from, all of which were well-maintained and clean. The resort also had a private beach area, which was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Additionally, the on-site gym and spa facilities were top-notch and provided a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing or exploring.

While the facilities were impressive, I have to admit that the food at the resort was only okay. While there were several dining options available, the quality of the food left something to be desired. While it was edible, I felt that it could have been much better. That being said, the staff were always friendly and accommodating, making every effort to ensure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed during my stay.

Big room, free parking, private beach with reef. Food was good for all inclusive.

Party every night was very loud. reception told us they would stop at 2230, but it was always till 2300. The beach bar was supposed to close at sunset. But they always closed more than an hour before sunset.

I have extended my stay, so this is my second review in a row. The extension means that I was satisfied. The personnel is helping and polite. The hotel manager Nabeh was perfectly helpful. The food is not just of good quality, but varies from day to day. The massage masters in the Spa are qualified and the spa is worth visiting. The sand beach is artificial, but it is situated as the other hotels in this part of Sharm, on the edge of the corral reef, so you can admire the corals and fishes when swimming with mask directly in your hotel.

I sleep with a small and a low pillow and bring my own with me, maybe it makes sense to have small pillows for those who like them

Absolutely amazing! The place has just opened with new management, that is why there are not many reviews between December and April. It was a last minute trip for us, and we are so glad we have chosen this hotel. The first and the most: staff is amazing: incredibly helpful, attentive and polite. I booked through booking.com and just before our arrival I received a what is up message from Albatros reception manager to see if we needed any help which was very timely - as I needed taxi and also accidentally booked the wrong room. Everything was sorted straight away and he waited for us to arrive to make sure that everything is going smooth. The food was great!!! I had my Australian/Italian family with me, they are very particular with food and they loved it! The best things are fresh fish, Egyptian barbecue, steaks, we also had duck and chicken. Pretty much different meats on the different day. Salad bar was solid and I love how they make potatoes, capsicums and egg plants. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. Beach is very close, and you have sea view pretty much from anywhere: pool, restaurant etc. - loved it. The hotel is adults only which makes a huge difference as well:-) We absolutely will go back.

Reception staff were friendly especially Mr. M. Nabih and conceirge staff. Check in and out procedures were comfortable Room selection was perfect Meals were ok Night shows were nice especially the colombian show.

Some staff in the beach bar and pool bar need more training or more motivation to "service with a smile" The theatre for The night shows lacks good light system. The lights are not enough. One of the animation team "Dino" behaves rude and childish.
