Our initial booking had been for 2 rooms for a family of 6. We'd requested for the rooms to be together with a pool view. Unfortunately the rooms were not next door to each other (which to be fair, had not been promised by the hotel). After Our first night we realised the arrangement was not workable as the kids room had 2 boys and 2 girls and just one bathroom. We were offered a much bigger room, comprising of a suite (living room + 2 bedrooms). This was perfect for us! We were moved swiftly and could actually start settling into enjoying our holiday. It was slightly further out to the edge of the resort which meant a lot more walking to the restaurants (and especially to the sister hotel's waterpark), but it was also a lot quieter so we didn't mind. Some callouts to specific individuals that made our hotel brilliant: - Mahmoud Sayid, our housekeeper kept our room clean and spotless, was always smiling and welcoming and even did a few fancy towel sculptures :) - Ahmed Hussein, a chef in the main restaurant was excellent at helping us understand which foods were ok for our children given their allergies to dairy, eggs, sesame and nuts. He even prepared a couple of dishes specifically for them! fantastic! - Mahmoud Ali, our host in the restaurant was always there to attend to our needs, finding (and reserving) tables even during busy times. Very friendly and always went out of his way to get hold of treats for the kids - Kamal Mohamed, in reception for helping to arrange for a bigger room for our needs and being always approachable and friendly - Mahmoud Zidane, reception manager and the go-to guy to get anything sorted (great guy to know!) The experience you have when you tip is miles better than when you dont - keep that in mind!

These are minor gripes and more FYI for readers and hotel to review: - there seemed to be some waist water drainage issues in our room. Both bathrooms had a foul whiff at times of the day. it disappeared after a while but happened far too many times. - poor maintenance on some of the restaurant furniture. on two occasions we found staples sticking out causing potential injury - most of the pools are not heated. I guess because it's not economically feasible to do so but I think visitors should keep this in mind. - there was no actual seafood at the 'seafood restaurant', not sure why that is lol

-Staff very friendly and helpful , thanks for room services Mr Hassan for making our stay comfortable - Booked superior Deluxe with pool view ; rooms very clean , modern , air conditioner and hot water 10/10 To multiple channels - food was not bad but it can be improved ( - lots of food and snacks u will never feel hungry - safeguarding every where - beach vey clean - Resort is vey clean - My kids loved evening entertainment programs - Aqua park and pools exactly what we were looking for

- Cashier team was not nice and uncooperative almost ruined our stay ( got free upgrades from reception and was satisfying after that ) - check in and check out time very un organised and long - deserts same every day and was tasteless - if u are single or family without children I don’t think it is a good place for u as it was vey crowded

Best stay of Sharm Elsheikh 06/2023! Our stay in Albatross aqua blue this year was exceptional! I’ve been in tons of resorts in Sharm Elsheikh before, but nothing like this time. Pickalbatros Aqua blue made everything right! The whole resort was extremely clean and staff were amazing!!! Beach, slides, restaurants , bars, customer service at desk and restaurant was beyond excellent!!! I would like to take the time to show my appreciation in a little thanks to the following workers for the excellent effort that they genuinely showed: - [x] All front desk that helped us check us all in in matter of couple of minutes and greeted us with drinks at our arrival to the hotel! - [x] Special thanks to Mr. Mahmoud Ali, the manager of the Italian and Mediterranean restaurant for the high level of service and respect. Keep up the excellent work, Mahmoud!! - [x] Another special thanks to the artist, Zain, from house keeping. We came back everyday from outside found our room nicely done with the amazing art that Zain created on our beds to put the smile on the face of my wife and my kids! Keep up the good work, Zain! - [x] Service at this resort was extremely amazing and also when I called the front desk and I asked the operator if you guys found lost iPhone and front desk sent me to mr.Magid that found it and kept my son’s phone safe! Thank you!! - [x] Mr. Hassan Abdel-Aziz, the housekeeping manager, that ordered his staff to rearrange our kids room in our family suite to the way I asked him to. He was prompt, respectful, and professional!! Thank you Mr. Hassan!! - [x] I can go forever like that, but thank you to management of this resort to make all their staff happy and let them love what they do and make them creates an excellence environment to the customers of the resort!

I really couldn’t find one thing wrong to write about this property. This is was amazing!

pools, food, maintenance very good housekeeping team (5225,5226 rooms) booking manager was amazing and done fantastic job for us

water in most of the pools is colds same entertainment ( mostly for kids and in Russian language with poor translation) hell a lot of Russians

The room was comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and fresh and there were more than 1 restaurant. The aquapark was wonderful and we had access to pickalbatros aqua park as well wich we enjoyed. The life guards are always there to guarantee your safety. There were activities to do and many cafes to sit in. The men on the drinks bar were helpful. The staff were always smiling and willing to help. Special thanks to Mr Kamal and mr Mohamed Salah in the reseception and the room service men. The pools are clean. The beach is rocky not sandy but this is not bad as the water is not shallow and you can sea colourful fishes swimming beside you and the water is not rocky it won't hurt your feet. Don't forget your snorkling tools =).

-The sea bus after the break is every 1 hour which is a long period. -Some staff isn't professional. Noticed that some life guards of the aqua park don't like foreigners. They treat them well but can say bad words about them in Arabic. Another thing, One of the men who serve tables in the medetranian restaurant asked if I have fb or whatsapp which is not appropriate at all. -The animation team isn't really friendly and the Arab ones prioritise foreigners over egyptians and the non Arab ones are not active. -The waves of the waves pool only was turned on 3 times for 20 minutes with weak waves only on the last day the waves were a bit stronger.

Everything. Check-in and check-out were smooth and done quickly, we've got an upgrade to the Jacuzzi swim-up bungalow ☺️ which was very spacious. Food is varied and you have a big selection and many restaurants if you don't like a dish you'll like another, I tried almost everything but I only had 2 nights so can't talk about long stays. Albatros all-inclusive includes almost everything even popcorn from sport bar by the night show, entertainment was enjoyable, the entertainer was Egyptian and spoke 3 languages on stage, Arabic, English and Russian, he did a great job 👍 You can go to the next Albatros Aqua park by just crossing both gates, snacks beverages and ice cream from the pool bars are included

If only it was by the beach, although there's a shuttle to their sister private beach every few minutes

As we arrived with kids at the age of 7 and 3 we enjoined much the special facilities the hotel is offered. Different types of slides, kids club, each evening another program. We want to mention the cleaning service was way beyond our expectations. Want to mention especially “Malak” the man who was responsible for cleaning our room. It is a special person because of whom we felt like we are at home. The staff in all the bars very nice. The hotel restaurants are perfect as long as one remember that it is a restaurant and treat it like it is a restaurant with the same respect. All the kitchen staff working very very hard to pleasant the guests. What can I tell more? The life guards at the hotel slides and swimming pools so nice and friendly. All my respect is given for them. They manage to keep order with so many people that I am just speechless. The hotel also has a service to order taxi. I suggest you to use that services as the man behind the desk is a man of trust. I can write more and more and more but I have to stop at some point. One small last thing. I suggest you to give some tips to the hard working personal. For us it might be just a small cash, for them it’s a lot.

We loved everything but yet I want to give some suggestions for further guests. Taking in account you choose to have a vacation in a place with water everywhere Please take with you something against mosquitoes. At the restaurant Please try not to fill the plate and waste food. I payed attention that when you put at the kids plate something small they eat everything. When the plate is full they will not eat .and finally a lot of food find their way to the trash please try to use less bottles of water. You can use the same bottles and al always refill them.

It’s a perfect location for a family beach holiday. The aqua park is well maintained and has slides and activities for all age groups. The staff is amazing truly. It’s close to Ras Mohamed for anyone looking to use the beach for water sports and activities. Excellent reef and spots for snorkelling and diving. All inclusive makes it worthwhile with drinks and multiple meal options available.

The wifi was the only let down.

The hotel and aqua park are amazing. There are so many pools, every room has access to its own shared pool. The guys who organise the excursions are honest and the rates are fair, Mokhtar and Sherif organised everything for us and it was great fun. There is a bus service to the hotels own private beach. Make sure you book the holiday with access to their sister hotel, what an amazing water park. It is huge. Our cleaner Mahmoud Sayed was brilliant, so helpful and always available to call on should you run out of anything from water to sugar. We formed a real friendship and I will miss our conversations. Thank you Mahmoud you are my new brother and I will always remember you my friend. I received a call from management during the stay and on the last night to ask us if we needed anything. The staff really do their best to help you. Every pool has a life guard and every slide and kids attraction is manned by life guards who take their jobs seriously. The pools close strictly at 6.30pm so everything calms down and you don't have any late night groups making noise. It's a proper family stay and I liked the system of the entire place it really worked for us. The WiFi signal was strong enough for us to watch Netflix on my laptop (bring your hdmi lead and you can watch movies on the TV). The room size was great we had a sofa area with its own TV which was also the kids sofa bed ( Wow!). The air conditioning was ice cold which we would have suffered without.

The food was okay. Quite bland though, the meat options looked great but the veggie options were simple and lacked flavour. If the hotel did some nights with veggie specials like a vegetarian burrito or samosas or mushroom burgers it would have made our holiday perfect. The kids sofa bed was not the most comfortable. But they managed well enough but if they were older I think they would have complained. This is why I give a 9 out of 10.

Best service, staff are amazing.the best experience in sharm El-Shikeh the hotel supposed to be rated 7 stars. All the best and Thank you so much for the wonderful experience we had. we will be back next year for sure 👍👍👍
