A clean modern hotel, very well situated for visiting Gibraltar as a day trip. The staff were all very helpful and kind. There is a bus stop really near the hotel which we used as we preferred not to have to try to find parking at La Ligna. The breakfast starts at 7am so early enough to have breakfast then take the bus. The breakfast was really good - fresh food and plentiful. The wifi was good. We liked the night light in the bathroom area. Plenty of on site parking when we went but free parking in the surrounding streets as well.

It would have been nice to have a room safe but they do have safes at reception too. Nothing much in the way of restaurants nearby - just overpriced fast food. The hotel did have their own menu which looked good and reasonably priced.

The hotel is situated a few miles from Gibraltar, which is why we were in the area anyway. At 25% of the cost of a hotel in Gib, it's good value. There are plenty of restaurants in the area ( but see dislikes). It is very clean and the breakfast is substantial.

The local restaurants while numerous, are primarily fast food. The only other option was a Chinese buffet, but when we pulled up and saw staff throwing waste out of the door and spitting in the doorway we left again. This is obviously nothing to do with the hotel, which was very clean and had great staff.

This is so lean. We had another hotel booked but something went wrong and suddenly we did not have a room at 20:00 in the evening. Booked this room at booking.com from the car and 20 minutes later we were in the room, so amazing, so efficient and soo friendly staff. Also free parking. I will definetely look for the Holiday Inn Express in the future. Also good breakfast.

Not the most exotic location, but we stayed for two night and was driving everyday to Gibraltar which worked perfect. In the evening you can walk to a center with several restaurants, cinema, laser games, climbingwall etc.

We chose the hotel due to its location close to Gibraltar. If you plan to visit Gibraltar, it's a great option for a quality stay just 20 min away the border. - Good price/quality ratio - Free parking in front - Comfy beds and overall great XP If we were to travel to Gibraltar again, we'd gladly stay there again.

The only thing to mention is the breakfast. A very basic one (too basic), just bread with spread and ham/cheese. Fine to fill in the stomach, though nothing special.

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in when taking everything into account, ie facilities, location, staff, value for money, comfort in rooms etc. Nothing was too much trouble for the girls at reception who were really lovely. The breakfast was quality and plentiful. There are a few restaurants nearby where you can eat. The beds were some of the comfiest we have ever slept on. Aircon was great, very effective, cleaning excellent. Really cannot fault this hotel in any way. Would thoroughly recommend. Great option if visiting Gibraltar.

Helpfull kind and the best stuff Close to gibralatar Room is good enough to sleep at Located in very pupulate area lots of brands food/supermarkets/decathlon/and prbably much more.... price was competetive to others although it should be lower at february and covid ...

Internet connectivity slow too slow at night Small tv and lack of english speaking channels breakfast is free but missing basic elements such vegtables\eggs or real cheese. No minibar Thoose are point to compare and are not major when consedring stay as a sleep station only

Location is perfect. Close to the highway and next to a shopping mall with a great food court. Clean Perfect as a stop after or before crossing to Morocco

The car park is a bit small and get packed very quickly. Moreover, it's open and I haven't seen any cctv. Breakfast was weak. Very little choice.

Poor breakfast, hotel lobby and even the elevator stinks like cigarettes despite no smoking on premises. TV in the room is the size of an iPad 😂

Everything was so easy from the check-in to check-out. Large room with toiletries, towels supplied. Bed was comfy although I wasn't keen on the pillows but that is just personal choice. Great selection for breakfast.

We arrived at 4 in the morning due to flight being delayed i came down at just before 10 to get a couple of bits for breakfast to take up to the room as everyone was still in bed from being up so late the night before but the receptionist told me i was not aloud to take anything upstairs seems quite pathetic when she knew what time we had arrived !! Think she could have been a bit more understanding of the situation 🤔
