location, beach are fantastic, but you can not swim in the ocean, there is strong currents. breakfast buffet are fine, on Sundays they have barbacoa which is delicious, they have much more things that you can eat

for sleep and go are fine, Not much facilities, the room decor and amenities are just minimal. we get what we expect, as we see the pictures, so is not surprises. it is close to the airport ( 20 min ) and close to San Jose del Cabo ( 8 min )

The poolside bar is in the shady side of the pool and is amazing, the temperature of the pool was perfect (and the pool itself was big), the air conditioner in our room was to die for, the staff was super accommodating and nice (especially for English only speakers). It was very comfortable and small, as compared to the resorts around it, it gave a very comfy cozy vibe. Really adorable cactus garden in the middle of the property and AN AMAZING LUNCH SPREAD! The staff was amazing and had fun activities waiting everyday like bingo, water aerobics and an art walk that we adored.

The dinner options were a bit lacking at times, and every once in a while we got a little bit of an odd smell in the air, the bar gets full very fast because it’s small (pool side)

First time in LC, we picked a winner. Small, quiet for the most part, staff were pleasant and responsive. Had a loud mean drunk couple next door so staff upgraded us to a beach facing suite to ensure a decent night's rest before flying out. Perfect location on the beach, so much to explore up and down the bay. And be sure to check out the SOLEIL Panaderia Pasteleria BAKERY - daily sometimes twice daily stop and within walking distance from the beach!

We knew this going in that WIFI would be spotty... and it was. Great if you want to truly enjoy a 1960's vacation. Easy to get WIFI up the road at shops, Starbucks. Walls are paper thin so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

We chose this hotel because we wanted a simple value place to say with an included authentic breakfast. The other reviewers were correct and our expectations were met very well. The facilities are fairly basic, but we loved the small feel, the very caring and friendly staff, and the easy access to walk to restaurants and artisan shops. The breakfast buffet had some nice options including premade dishes, a custom omelet bar, freshly made tortillas, and an abundance of fresh fruits. We also liked the calmer and more laid-back feel of San Jose del Cabo in contrast to Cabo San Lucas. We also LOVED the Thursday night Art Walk in downtown San Jose -- do not miss this festival of art and food and fun!

The walls are quite thin, and we could hear neighbors talking at night, but I think this was more of a guest issue than a hotel issue. The hotel has signs posted in the hallways asking for quiet. The shower drain was not keeping up with the water flow, so the bathroom floor got all wet, but we discovered we could turn down the water pressure and this problem was alleviated.

We had stayed here a few years ago. So we were eager to return. The first day, we discovered there was "construction with hammering" and the Posada Real moved us to another room, easily. We liked the view better, too:) All the meals are well prepared and delicious. We enjoy the option to dine inside or outside. Poolside beer and guacamole is a plus. We did not go into the pool, however, we did enjoy walks to the beach and the views. We could walk to nearby eateries, pastry shop, and grocery stores. The Posada Real is centrally located for walking to the town or other natural places.

For a short time, the hammering noise. As mentioned above, we were moved, happily:) :)

Friendly staff and other people visiting, right on the beach, with a nice pool and hot tub. Relaxing and comfortable, excellent views from the ocean view rooms and the pool. Delicious breakfast and plentiful, free drinking water jugs to fill your water bottle. No extra fees to park a car, easy to get to, and easy to get around town. Also plenty of food and bars within walking distance.

Seemed like it needed some upgrades. Definitely not a super fancy place, so if that is what you are looking for, you probably want to go to another place. But this was smaller, more personal, and less expensive. I thought it was a great deal!

Love the hotel and the location. Close to the beach. We're by the tennis court and they play music in the .orno g which I don't mind because I love the music. Breakfast buffet is delicious and eating outside was really nice watching the ocean, nice breeze, view and the birds. All staff are nice and friendly. Checking in and checking out was smooth. This hotel is rustic. They also have fun games by the pool and a bar. Staff goes around to ask for orders.

Great location on the beach and walking distance to lots of restaurants, and a supermarket. I loved that they had water dispensers on each floor so we could fill up our water bottles. We stayed here at the beginning of our trip, then Cabo San Lucas at the end.... and by far this was a much better option. It is the more "low key" side of Los Cabos.

Not the hotels fault - but just note that in Jan/Feb the winds can stop you doing a lot of water activities.

The employees were EXCELLENT. The food was good and they provided me with whatever foods I needed for my diabetes. All you have to do is ask for it. Restaurant manager Ezekial is really wonderful. Just ask him for whatever you need. It is quiet from 10:30 on for sleep.

No swimming at the beach. This is a deal breaker for my wife. We will go to Cancun next time.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is walking distance from José del Cabo, with lovely restaurantes and coffee shops (Chula Vegan Café) and interesting shops/markets. We loved hearing the sound of crashing waves once the pool bar music stopped :)

We could hear the music and people from the pool bar in our room a lot, but tbh we were mostly out sightseeing, so it was okay.
