On our stay we were able to have a breakfast / brunch 06:30 till 1:30 on Saturday and Sunday .The restaurant was closed due to corporate function in the evenings during our stay but we found good local restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

We couldn't find anything we were really concerned about ,the staff were friendly and we were able to book a return taxi to the airport with no problems through the hotel .The food we had at breakfast was good and and vegan options were good. The only delay we had was that the aircraft was late arriving at Tampere from Standsted due to deicing delays so getting a taxi was a waiting game but we got to the hotel in the end.

Breakfast should have been much better at this price level hotel! It was nice to get own coffee pot to the table, restaurant room historic and nice. But the scrambled eggs were gummy like in cheap hotels, bacons were a cooked in piles and that's how those were served (not fired as bacons should be). Cheeses; two options, cheap ones. Greens and fruits; not so many options, fruits, where ? The whole presentation was 'sloppy' like in cheap hotels. You could go and experience the Hotel Seurahuone in Turku for their breakfast and learn.

Very nice and classic old historical hotel with a great atmosphrere. The location is excellent. Staff was very professional, except at the breakfast. The room has a nice bed, and soft Joutsen down-pillows.

Room was on the third floor, right above a busy street. Room on the other side of the hotel might be better. The room was too hot, radiator was going almost red. We are big fans of hotel breakfasts and always looking forward to the mornings. Our visit was during christmas season, and the staff began to prepare the seasons lunch before breakfast was over. Lot of noise and shouting of instructions to the staff, ond overall mayhem. The breakfast should be nice and quiet, it is a big part of the experience

The historic building of the hotel brings amazing atmospfere of early 20th century. Hotel is well furnished and you feel like be a part of this era. Their service is exceptionable, rooms are very comfortable and clean with very nice bathroom. Delicious breakfast is served.

Only one hot drink is available for a breakfast. I ordered black tea and I wanted a coffee as well and I had to pay extra. In such hotel, both options should be included in a breakfast. This is common in all hotels of such level.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and amazing staff. When I was checking inn the hotel staff gave colors and a coloring book to my daughter and made her feel so happy. The location is great and the rooms are lovely and big.

Since it's a heritage hotel, the washroom fittings are also old. Not unforgettable but just old style. The washroom was very small though. Wish the hotel had pool and sauna. I wish there were more hot dishes for breakfast and that some dishes changed everyday. Have the exact same breakfast everyday isn't great.

Wonderful historical setting; not just the history of the hotel itself and it’s wonderfully preserved period decor, but the physical setting of the hotel alongside the rapids that made Tampere into such a key city. It was a great stay in a great city. We loved it!

The breakfast in that amazing dining room was superb, but could we have some ‘riisipiirakkas’ next time ?!

Very nice, old world charm hotel, lovely ambience. Overlooking the fountain in the park. Comfortable bed, nice room if a bit small. Very friendly sweet staff. Enjoyed the breakfast. Would definitely stay here again, we really enjoyed it.

There are roadworks around the hotel and the town. Ask for a room overlooking the park, and you will not hear the noise.

The location was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. The view across Tampere was amazing.

There were roadworks going on all around the hotel which started at 7am and we arrived past midnight and really needed to sleep! They were very noisy.The children's beds were extremely uncomfortable, so much so that it was really hard for them to sleep.

Beautiful art deco hotel. This hotel looks like a museum, fantastic. The staff is amazing, extremely helpfull! Diverse and delicious breakfast. Very central, 10 minutes walking to the train station.

Room was very hot, in august. Luckily there was a fan. Very noisy, because they were working outside. There was a huge street renovation in front of the hotel.

The building is amazing and the staff is friendly! :)

Not hotel's fault, but some teenagers outside the hotel played very loud music at around 1 am. Not for long, fortunately, but long enough for me to contact the reception about it. Perhaps the breakfast could have included something a bit more unique? It felt a bit average, considering the locale.
