This is an old-fashioned "proper" hotel with unique decoration in each room. It had a homely feel and character. The breakfast had plenty of options for everyone with good space. Location was great - a short walk from the city, backing onto a park. There is outdoor seating and a bar in reception offering local beers. We had a big roll-top bath as well as a shower.

This is not a sleek chain hotel but offers a personalised experience. For example, you could ask at reception for a drink but there were no facilities in the rooms for this. We were OK getting in and out of the bath for the shower but this may be an issue for the less able so it would be worth mentioning this at booking. If you have rambunctious children, this may not be the hotel for you! (too many opportunities for breakages!)

Lovely retro vibe and atmosphere and cute outdoor area. The hotel feels like it's from the set of fawlty towers or an Agatha Christie show. Makes for great pictures and overall very happy with it. Location is also good, nearby several sights as well as a park. Nearby the train station and bus terminal as well. Room size is also good and loved that we had real plants in our windows and climbing plants outside our window. Very scenic. Breakfast was small but staff brought out new plates quickly, dining area is also very unique. Outdoor space available.

The rooms are in desperate need of a deep clean. We had stained curtains and bed cover, and black gunk in the corners of the shower. We asked staff about a broken light and a broken soap dispenser, of which only the first was fixed.

I liked that the hotel is an independent hotel and the decorations are truly super funny. It reminds me of Austria or other Central European kitch, it's quite amusing. The breakfast is okay, nothing special. The staff is really friendly but a bit shy.

The hotel has a pretty strong musty smell. They keep the windows open everywhere, I believe to air out the smell. Gladly it didn't stick to our clothes. The price is quite high and you would expect to get a little bit more for the money. The staff is friendly, the hotel is uniquely decorated but that's not quite enough. I was missing all little details: there was no conditioner or tissue paper, no q-tips or anything else. It's run-down and not always in a nice way. The pillows were flat and all in all you get a feeling you've been over-charged. Which is a pity since it's not a bad place. The breakfast was okay but really nothing special and the coffee could be of a higher quality. And there is no porridge! Come on, it's Finland!

The place is nice and the staff is nice. Breakfast is also good. Generally it is good.

Unfortunately the neighbor room was so loud. They started party in their own hotel room since evening, and continued until 5am ish. They were quiet for a while after we called the reception, but again around 3:am they came back from somewhere and continued partying. So you are really at the merci of other fellow travelers, and some of them were really full of energy.

Good location - close to bus stops, walking distance from the center, next to a park. There is a courtyard with tables. Very kind, helpful, accommodating staff. Always looked for the best solution. Gave us the opportunity to change the room. While we were at work, everything was moved to the new room in a timely manner. Rich breakfast. Good wi-fi. Comfortable beds.

The family room turned out to be smaller than in the description. It would be comfortable for one person. We received an offer to replace it. It was done asap. Thank you. The offer of hot food could be more varied at breakfast. I would like coffee from the machine.

Very nice hotel with a very good location. Busstations are closby but you can reach also on foot many places within minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also gave a lot of advices regarding restaurants and places to visit. The breakfast was good as well and the room was very nice and quite large. The WLAN worked very well.

There is nothing to complain. The only minor thing is that in the bathroom some of the tiles looked a bit dirty, even though they were not.

This is a fabulous boutique hotel with character. Our room was decorated in 18th-century style. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the train station as well as the riverside. The yard is beautiful as well, with a little fountain.

Do not expect modern amenities - this hotel is all about old-world charm. The bathroom was clearly from the 80s, and there's no AC. Since the furniture is all antiques, some of it is a bit worn.

What a gem in the heart of the city! We had a super nice room with a nice view of the fountain in the garden. The bathroom didn’t had heated floors which is always a bonus. It was raining a bit so they provided free umbrellas for their guests. It was quite quiet up until the moment some Americans arrived. The breakfast was ok. I was working in the lobby after the check-out and they were kind enough to keep my lugagge foran hour until I walked to the city centre which is just a 7 minute walk away.

The bathroom didn’t have a sanitary shower.

The property is very cute and cozy, service good , breakfast- great as well. They have free parking in the back.

The only issue is if you have small kids. Place is great for adults, but not safety proof for small children: window locks can be easily opened by a small child (18 months in our case), windows are low and easily accessible for a kid, and there lots of decorations too.

Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. They helped me out as I took ill and had to spend a lot of time in my room. They made arrangements for tea etc. Early monring at 4 am on day of departure they rpepared a sandwich and coffee to take to airport Excellent hotel and would recommend to others.
