Food was really good, lot of different choices. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Parking. It was confusing. I would be much better to have dedicated parking space during my stay (either in the hotel or next-door parking garage). At arrival we were able to park in the hotel parking garage and we paid for that, but in the evening there were no free spaces so we had to park next door parking garage (that was ok) but then we needed to go to hotel and tell them that and then the money for hotel parking was refunded. So too much fuss, especially when you have kids with you.

It was very quiet in our room despite the fact that it was near the elevator. We slept very well, beds were very comfortable. Nice room decoration with a map of Turku in the wall with QR codes of places to visit - very creative. Good equipment in the room: it was possible to connect your own YouTube, Netflix subscription via Chrome cast to the screen, also we had an ipad in the room. Nice bonus - coffee and tasty tee in the room. Good breakfast. Beautiful and modern hotel!

It was a bit dusty in the room. My daughter is allergic to dust, so it wasn't so comfortable. I didn't like a low water pressure in the shower - it was hard to wash long hair. Location is special: long walk distance to the old town especially with kids, but just a few minutes away from the railway station.

The breakfast was generous, varied and delicious. Service was efficient. The location was ok -it was close to the University where my meetings took place and though it was a bit far from the city centre, it was a walkable distance; all in all the location was fine. In addition, as a black woman travelling alone, I felt safe and at home in the Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa.

At this point I must nitpick because I liked everything! I speak only English so needed help with the language. The guide in the room (on TV) had English translations but not for everything and some information was lost to me.

Hotel is right above Kupittaa train station, but there's hardly noise to be heard., The Hotel is new, it has a restaurant and a roof-top bar on the 9th floor (closed on Sundays). The hotel people are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is scandinavian style.

There seems to be a rule in Finland that rooms are only made up when you insist. Eco reasons? We did insist. Though they had six hours to clean, the bathroom and the bedroom were like we had left them. So we insisted again. All they did was putting new towels. With a leaking shower (which floods the floor) we thought that was sub-standard, considering the price we paid. A little bit of sweeping would have made a difference. .

I liked the way the breakfast and lunch were organized, how clean the room was and how quiet it was.

The young cafeteria staff were practically grabbing the plates off of our hands without a word while we were still eating there, it was quite uncomfortable as we wanted to take our time enjoying the food. A sports team of around 40 boys arrived during the weekend and occupied the entire cafeteria. They should've been given a separate space as to not disturb the clientele, it wasn't possible to get to the buffet or find a table.

The hotel is very conveniently located above the train arrival platform, which was ideal due to the icy weather. Their bistro was open till 10PM, and they have a cozy lounge that's open all night long, so you can leave the room or order something to the room. Great service and friendly staff. I was so satisfied that I decided to reserve another stay here next spring when I checked out this morning!

Everything we loved! Staff was wonderful and helpful, hotel is completely new and one of the best looking, cozy, stylish interior. Absolute stunning looking hotel. Very clean, restaurant in hotel had also very delicious pizza and breakfast had everything you wanted, it was above expectations.

Too bad that location is further away from center.

The hotel was really new or just renovated, either way, it was a pleasant stay. A cozy bar at the top of the building. Great it had its own underground parking lot. Desserts during breakfast - really good! The size of TV. GREAT. LOVED IT. Just couldn't use the mirroring option due to.. we don't know why, it just didn't work.

Quite busy and only two elevators available for the guests. The location was somewhat weird, basically in the middle of nowhere and a busy road. Definitely not a few minutes walk from the objects or places of possible interest. Found empty cans in our room. Asked to take it since we didn't know if it was from the minibar or just left behind. Instead, they left the empty cans but took what we put in the minibar ourselves.

The Room was pretty clean and big in size. I really also the interior and design in the room. It was something different and nice compare to commonly what we see in the hotels.

There was some kind of strainge smell in the bathroom. May be they can use some kind of room fresher which keeps the bathroom feeling fresh.

Very pleasant journey in hotel. So many equipements and very clean, hospitality and large choice for breakfast.

We forgot our airpods in the room and contacted the hotel they send a message that they find it in the room and send it by post. Unfortunately the next day they said they have lost it.
