Located a short walk from the lake, the setting for the hotel was lovely; green and quiet. We had a room on the second floor with a lovely view of Lac du Bourget and la Dent du Chat. The room was a very comfortable size with lots of storage and a small refrigerator which actually kept things cold. The restaurant on the roof on the hotel was a perfect place to watch sunset. The staff were wonderful and friendly. We were able to store our bikes in a secure store room and there was a nice parking area. I loved that it was a small hotel. We enjoyed swimming in the lake but also enjoyed the swimming pool at the hotel. The breakfast offerings were delicious.

The hotel has a lovely bar on the ground floor but despite having an enticing bar menu it seemed to be poorly stocked. We fancied a digestif after our late night bike ride but it seemed there was no cognac or brandy to be found although the staff was able to rustle a bottle of scotch from the store room. There were several small problems with the fittings in the room; the hand held shower head was too heavy to be used unless one held it, the toilet seat was not fitted properly and the toilet paper holder was loose; we pointed these out to the staff and I am sure they will be remedied shortly.

Excellent breakfast buffet, great coffee. Restaurant in the hotel very good evening meal. Good pool. Fab location.

Twin beds requested through booking.com, upon arrival the beds were made up as doubles. We asked to have twin beds as per the booking and the staff were very reluctant to meet our request, apparently the info through booking.com does not reach the hotel and we should’ve contacted them directly to ask for twin beds. Kind of defeats the object of booking online!! The beds did get changed which allowed us to sleep well. Bubbles not working in the jacuzzi.

Location is good, but unfortunately for the time of year not many cafes or restaurants were open. The hotel restaurant had a very limited menu.

The summing pool area could do with some attention. The showers before going into the pool did not have a button to press for the water. The pool could do with a banister to hold onto in getting and out of the pool. The are looked neglected and could do with a good clean. A shame as the rest of the hotel was great. Restaurant menu limited.

The location and ambience was superb.

The address which is clearly wrong. Put it into the SatNav and you end up at a camping site. After a 7 hr drive then going around in circles is not good enough. Phoned up the hotel and it’s a different address!! This needs to be sorted asap!

Location, room, parking, modern, very good bathroom

Breakfast. Room is poorly designed (everything in a corner, so is one person is there, nobody else can be). Seemed to be under-staffed as there was not enough food, nor glasses and cutlery.

The hotel is situated outside of the town but really close to the lake & beach area. There are several lakeside restaurants within walking distance. The hotel bar was nicely decorated.

The air conditioning wasn’t brilliant & the standard rooms were quite basic. We didn’t have the breakfast as it was expensive. Parking on site was a bonus.

The room was spacious for the family. Clean, well equiped, good internet connection. Near the lake.

During summer, it seems that sometimes the outside is noisy. Also the sounds of the neighbours when they are talking in the terrasse, it could be very noisy, especially late in the evening. But this depends on who your neighbour is.

The "Junior Suite" rooms are a good size if you plan to work in the room. The hotel indoor pool is nice, a bit small but very clean! There is a small hot tub and a small wood sauna as well. I think this would be a great hotel if you are travelling with kids. LOVE the view from the breakfast area, just beautiful! Very helpful staff providing a space to work outside the room after checkout as well. Decent A/C in the rooms if you need to travel in the summer. When we asked if there were umbrellas for hotel guests a staff member loaned me her personal umbrella when a downpour started!

Some things were broken in the room, towel rack, toilet paper rack. The staff could not find extra toilet paper the night we arrived, even after looking in two different storage rooms (?). Late checkout was not possible.

excellent location. great views from the restaurant. facilities were good - lovely indoor pool, comfortable bar, comfortable beds. the staff were brilliant - very friendly and helpful both at reception and in the restaurant. the waitress in the restaurant at dinner during our stay went out of her way to help us and provided brilliant service.
