This is a fantastic hotel. What you see in the pictures is accurate - it is a very nice mansion-type house with rooms on two floors, embedded in fabulous grounds with a huge lawn that slopes down to the river, and a very large and nice pool. There are not many guests (I guess they have something like 12 rooms) so the place is very quiet, relaxed and not busy at all. Breakfast is excellent and they also offer formal dinners (3-course chef style) - these are expensive, but the one we had was worth the price for the classy experience (but if you stay for a few days you can consider cheaper options in the area). There's also a nice bar that serves drinks and coffee most times of day. Also many other facilities (small spa, table tennis, floats for the pool). Parking in site is free and very convenient. Elevator access to second floor if you like. Staff super attentive and helpful. 24/7 reception which was helpful since we arrived late after a long drive. We had two rooms (2 person and 3 person). The hotel upgraded our triple to a suite since they thought that the additional bed would not be comfortable enough which was very nice of them. The suite was probably the fanciest and nicest room we stayed in during our entire France trip. The double was also very nice. Overall this was really a very enjoyable stay! the place is expensive, but it is worth it.

Beautiful location with a view onto the Tarn river nestling in the wooded valley beyond. The restaurant has lovely food and staff competent enough to steer you away from dubious wine choices. The hotel manages to combine 5-star service with a family atmosphere.` Albi's monuments are also an absolute must-see.

A bit of a decorative time capsule with a garden sorely in need of creative input, although visited in the midst of a heatwave.

Property located on the bank of the river, with huge garden big swimming pool and forest with old trees .Restaurant was amazing, very kind staff eager to make you happy. A real gem!!!

Stayed only 2 nights which is too short to enjoy everything the hotel offers.

Beautiful riverside setting and large park to walk in plus huge swimming pool. Staff charming and professional.Superb restaurants great flavours and excellent rapport between quality and price.

Staying for just one night

A magnificent location … very friendly and welcoming staff. The food and wines at dinner were outstanding as was the service and presentation. An exceptional experience.

A wonderful place on the bank of a river, stylish rooms and an amazing staff, which meets all your expectations. The most welcoming and pleasant atmosphere we’ve ever experienced. Even though we had to leave at 5 a.m. we got our breakfast in the room. I also asked for some salad and avocado as a side dish for my omlette and fresh mint for my tea right from the garden and got it. The garden drops you to another dimension of tranquility and relaxation. The best choice for Albi.

I would recommend serving some welcoming water bottles in the rooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were wonderful, they were friendly, attentive and gave us great advice about local sites when we asked. The room we stayed in was perfect.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, right on the river. Gorgeous room with balcony out on to the pool and river, staff were very attentive and helpful. Great facilities, wish we had longer.

Nothing really, I suppose the hotel is a little way out of town and its a nice walk but you really do need a taxi back and we struggled to get one, so I would suggest getting a number from the hotel before you go out.
