Ric and Fer are lovely hosts. The continental breakfast in the little garden behind the house was sumptuous and consisted of all organic products. The location of the B&B is excellent, with restaurants and pubs a few yards away. We particularly liked the crèperie which was surprisingly good and seemed popular among the locals. You can also explore the ancient church and castle located in a wonderful park just a few minutes' walk away.

We didn't realize that the guest rooms are on the second and third floor without an elevator. This is difficult for guests with mobility issues. The room on the third floor is under the roof and has slanted walls, making it a bit uncomfortable for tall guests. Finally, be aware that there is no place to sit outside your own room, making it impossible for a group of guests to spend time with each other inside the building.

Lovely couple that welcomed us with open arms. There was a possibility to store our bikes in the garage. Because all the restaurants in the neighborhood were closed, they were so kind to provide us a meal. The room was very nice decorated. The beds were comfortable and everything was super clean! The area around is very charming. Not to touristic.

If you are looking for a great place to stay, don't hesitate and book this address. I cherish nothing but good memories. The house is so nice and welcoming, the rooms are tastefull and cosy but the added value are the host themselves. I have spent only one night in their house, on my way to Paris (by bike) and I have hardly felt so hardly welcomed than by Fernanda&Richard. Don't hesitate. Book! You won't regret it.

This is a family home in a small village where a few rooms are rented out. There is a bar (that had live music when we were there) and a couple of restaurants in the village, as well as a chateau that is well worth visiting. Ric and Fer were very friendly and gave us a delicious breakfast.

This was a quaint typically French house and we were made really welcome by Ric and Fer who were warm and excellent hosts! We enjoyed a pizza in the restaurant opposite and in the morning Ric and Fer prepared delicious egg on pancakes! Wonderful.

This is just an amazing place. A beautiful house; very friendly and helpful hosts. An excellent (bed)room and bathroom. We had to leave at 4.30 am to get the ferry to Dover but Fer was waiting for us in the hall and provided us with a 'take away breakfast'. Cheers, Jane + Roger, Lane End (England)

Had an excellent stay and breakfast was super. Hosts could not have been more helpful. Hope to go back to explore the area a little more, as we were passing through on the way to Alsace!

Fernanda was a delightful host. She spoke excellent English and had extensive local knowledge. She keeps hens and cooked me a boiled egg laid only hours before. Absolutely delicious. She offered fried breakfast too which we did not actually want.

Ric et Fer have made a special place of their B&B: it is quiet and relaxed. Nice, spacious and clean rooms. All Facilities you want. You can have a relaxing breakfast at the terras in the garden. Fer facilitates everything you want, even hot water for your thermos underway. And of course, three lovely cats in the garden are a bonus. Coucy-le-Chateau is very nice also.
