This is an exceptional property. Very friendly welcome, beautiful decor and great comfort. The hosts are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The gardens are really beautiful and the whole house has been decorated and finished to a very high standard with lots of beautiful objet d'art. We took advantage of the home-cooked dinner which was 3 courses with wine. Sitting out in the garden and chatting to guests from other countries was a lovely experience. Seriously, you won't find a better place to stay in this region. Thank you for a superb stay!

Everything is perfect, just as it is.

We received a lovely warm welcome from the hosts and were looked after extremely well. On arrival we received help to park in the private courtyard, help with our luggage and an introduction to fellow guests and shared living and dining rooms. We also received clear guidance for a stroll along the quiet riverside before dinner. We pre-booked dinner at the accommodation; it was delicious with local French speciality cuisine. The bedroom was spacious, beautifully decorated and quiet as it overlooked the garden. We were provided with every amenity, from toiletries to tea & coffee making facilities. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. Breakfast was also delicious with some home-made items like fruit salad, jam and yoghurt. A perfect stay; it would be lovely to return one day.

Only a personal preference for a duvet on the bed as we found using a blanket & sheets uncomfortable. Otherwise warm enough.

The place is a jem in every aspect. The owners, Yannick and Jean Claude are extremly kind and helpful. We stayed for one night on our way to Provence, and we realized we should have stayed more. We had dinner cooked by Yannick which was exceptional, very tasty and very nicefully presented . Breakfast was amazing. The room as well as all seating ateas and breakfast room are decorated very nicely with art items and original paintings from around the world. The area is extremly quiet.

Very nice private old house, fully but carefully renovated to save its charm. All very nicely decorated with antique elements. Small but green territory, very calm. I was the only guest and I booked a dinner. It was very tasty and served by a host like in a top restaurant. Very tasty breakfast, all food is high quality. Fast WiFi. 30km from Chablis - great place for overnight after/before the degustation tour.

Nothing to complain about. Consider that the place is in calm area outside, you need a car to go there. At 11.03 the host friendly reminded me that it's time to leave which is fully correct as check out time is 11.00 :)

The property is in perfect condition, with lovely furniture and paintings, and spotlessly clean. Our host, Yannick, communicated clearly and promptly before our arrival, and very welcoming when we arrived. Yannick offered us the option of dinner which, we gladly accepted. Yannick cooked all courses personally and the food was beautifully presented, every mouthful was delicious, and it was excellent value for money with local wine included. Breakfast the following morning was also delicious and prepared and presented with care.

We stayed in the Madras accommodation which was very clean and well decorated. There is a plush sitting room for guests to use adjacent to the dining room (see photo) We enjoyed at extra cost an evening meal with other guests, 4 courses and wine for EUR30ea which was excellent and we would definitely recommend taking up this option.

Access can be confusing but simply press the door bell and then the large gates can be opened for some limited secure parking. The main issue was with the weather! It was raining which really did put a dampener on the place as the garden would have been lovely to sit out in (see photo).

Yannick’s property is calm and peaceful with a beautiful garden. The interior is elegant and charming with fine art works throughout the residence. Our room was cool and overlooked the garden. It was special and very enjoyable to dine in the coolness of the garden each evening. Yannick is a gracious and convivial host.

What we liked most was meeting our incredibly attentive and gracious host Yannick! The place itself is beautiful and has a sense of history. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a dining room decorated with tasteful art, while looking out on the courtyard’s old well and a Monk’s pantry. Interesting lives must have been lived here in the last few centuries!

We were travelling from Alps to Cherbourg so this was an overnight stay breaking the journey. The situation of the property is excellent in that respect, very close to the A6, though not close enough to hear it. Parking was very secure and off street in a walled/ gated courtyard. Property was most interesting with lots of artwork on display. Yannick was a super host, very welcoming without being overburdening. Dinner was wonderful and the breakfast varied and fresh. We will definitely look to stay again.

Room was quite cold on arrival. It warmed up once the heating had been turned on. This was a very minor matter.

This is an exceptional place with an exceptional style. We liked the fact that we could have dinner, which was cooked to perfection. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.

There is nothing to go out in the village. So if you want to go for a drink you need to drive.
