Excellent! everything was perfect! Gorgeous place very peaceful with an amazing team. Everything was perfect! Beautiful chateau nicely restored and decorated with great test. The team is best in class with great attention to details (big thank you to Nicolas). House, garden, pool, bicycles, food, amazing wine, spirit… nothing can be faulted. A big thank you to the Wilmers family for providing access to this “havre a de paix”. We will be back.

My partner and I booked a last minute getaway for after our wedding without carrying out much research on the property. I can honestly say Chateau Le Pape was impeccable, it was beautifully decorated, had wonderful scenery around, comfortable and spotlessly clean! Nicholas who was our host could not do enough for us, he was very polite, wine was always in the fridge as requested, provided advice on locations to visit and cooked the best eggs! We cycled to Haut Bailly, definitely worth the trip to understand the beauty behind the place and the engineering marvel recently constructed (winery). The owners sound like great people who really care about the area, the quality of their wine and their employees. Well done Chateau Le Pape/Haut Bailly for making our honeymoon perfect!

This was a gorgeous property, we felt very lucky to have discovered this chateau and would highly recommend; spacious rooms, beautiful grounds, fabulous breakfast

It was an amazing stay. The chateau is very charming and recently renovated. It was also very stylish, clean and serene. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast served in the terrace every morning was the highlight. Finally the chateau is well situated, close to Bordeaux but also it felt you were in the countryside.

Beautifully decorated throughout and lovely setting. Nicholas is doing an amazing job. He is very attentive and helpful and puts everything right straight away.

I think one light should be left on in the garden, front and one in the main lobby so it’s not pitch black when you return from dinner.

It’s is a beautiful property with a pool and rental bikes. Valerie and her team were welcoming and warm. Some very good restaurants located just a cycle through the vineyards on the property’s bikes.

A beautifully renovated place. We just used the accommodation but I understand that there are options to visit the winery attached. Breakfast is simple and communal - we were very happy with that.

Wonderful quiet place to stay in wine country! we enjoyed our spacious, beautiful, very comfortable room; the pool; wine in the evening on the patio overlooking the vineyard, and using the bikes to visit nearby restaurants. Couldn't have been more perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place is truly beautiful, and the staff was so warm and welcoming. We’re already looking forward to visiting again in the future—can’t wait to return!
