Excellent location, only 15 minutes walk from the train station. Battle of Normandy Museum, town and bars walkable in less than10 minutes. Room spotless, room service daily. Bed comfortable, ensuite, TV. Breakfast good value, continental only. Premiere Classe was excellent value , cheap, basic and would definitely stay again.

Only thing I missed was a bar, a nice beer on an evening would have been nice after a long day sightseeing. Even if they sold cans from the drinks machine ( must be the alcohol licence ) would have been nice.

This location is only a 15 minute walk to the Bayeux train station and around a 10 to 15 walk to the old town area with many restaurants. From the Bayeux train station, you can catch bus 120 or 121 and go to many of the beaches or museums for €2 or €3 each way. One of the staff loaned me a wall power plug since mine didn't fit. I checked in using their 24h machine and it worked fine for me. I ate their simple breakfast 3 times for it was worth €6.90 each time. I would stay here again!

The bathroom was small but it was clean.

It looked smart and was very well placed for the city centre. It had plenty safe parking. It had a lift. Breakfasts were adequate. Bed was comfy and clean.

Staff were efficient but not friendly. Outside entrance tarmac was uneven and marked with a yellow edge for disabled access. However the edge dipped and my husband fell badly due to the two levels and it not being noticeable. He was really hurt and cracked a rib. He did not report it, as this only became worse later. Lastly the large tv in the breakfast room was HORRIBLY out of focus. It either needs fixing, turning off or binning!

Location is great with a short, easy walk into town. Pet friendly. Great value for money. Free parking and plenty of spaces. You can borrow a hairdryer if required. There are vending machines in reception along with a microwave which I think is intended for drinks/baby milk. Tourist leaflets are also available

Given the positives, this does mean that large groups stay at the hotel. During my stay a large school trip was staying, unfortunately this meant an evening of kids running along the corridors, shouting, slamming doors and running up and down stairs. Most other noises were unheard. It wasn't a huge issue for me but might be worth noting that the reception isn't 24/7. They do provide 2 room keys, and there is an out of hours electronic check-in booth if needed.

The room is compact with a bunk bed and the bathroom really small, but it was everything clean and cozy to spend one day. Best thing was the attendance, the ladies at the reception were really nice and let us leave the bags before the check in time, since we had a tour schedule for that day. Also, there's a reception self-service outside, so you have everything you need. In case you are really tired in the end of the day, which was our case, the restaurant in front of the hotel is great, with cold food buffet or menu. The lady at the reception kindly gave us a 50% coupon for it!

The hotel is described as "unfussy" and that's true but there is everything you could need for a couple of nights stay. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well-fitted out. A bonus was the on-site parking and the option of having breakfast outside on the terrace. All the staff we met were absolutely lovely, very friendly, helpful and happy to give tips on what to see and do in the area. Their positive attitude gave the hotel a really cheerful atmosphere, which was great. We really enjoyed our days here.

Having stayed in this hotel before we were pleased to see that the standard had remained high. The proximity to town is really good - a pleasant 10 minute stroll brings one straight to the cathedral and therefore the centre of town.

Unfortunately the second night saw a smoker lodged in the next room. Due to an interconnecting door our room was filled with the smell of ?cigarettes which, despite opening the window, remained all night. We had booked a non-smoking room! A little more planning from the hotel could have avoided our discomfort as the room the other side of ours was empty and had no interconnecting door. As regular visitors to Bayeux (about 3 times a year) we will have to consider looking for a non-smoking hotel. A shame as we are fans of this establishment.

Comfortable room, close enough location to the town and train station. Felt like a very safe area in general. The self check-in machine was efficient. Also, thanks to the hotel to allowing a change of dates after the refund date.

Significant issues with swipe cards. I had five issued, all of which failed at some point. Very uncomfortable feeling questioning whether you can get into your room when returning late at night. Also, it would be nice if basic coffee and tea facilities were included.

Very helpful welcoming young lady on reception who booked us into our room even though we'd arrived early and explained the nearby restaurants and sights in Bayeux - all within walking distance. Parking on site was a great bonus. Room was clean and with good facilities. Weren't able to take advantage of paid for breakfast at 7am due to early check in at Caen.

Would suggest, if possible, including a kettle in room to enable guests to make a drink. Apart from that nothing to complain about.

Easy walk into town, large and free parking lot, croissants that were baked on-site for two of the 3 mornings of our stay - the smell was wonderful when we came down from our room, and they were delicious! Good coffee. Very friendly staff. Quiet. Good budget accommodations. Would stay again.

The elevator was broken when we first arrived, and they assigned us a room on the top floor. We are in reasonably good shape, but I am 65 & my husband is 75 years old! Fortunately, we travel fairly light, and a couple of the ladies on staff offered to carry our bags to our room. Beds and pillows were a little hard. Bathroom is of course small, but we've previously traveled on a boat and in an RV, so that wasn't really a big deal to us.
