We loved that it was in an 18th century building and there was an old stable in the back that was renovated. Quite charming. The breakfast was very good and we were able to boil eggs as we like them. The owners were friendly and helpful.

There is no Uber in the city, nor was there a taxi available to take us to the hotel from the train station. We thought it would be a short walk but it took about a half hour as we had backpacks and also pulled our luggage on the cobbles up and down narrow streets. Thankfully, we asked the owner to arrange a taxi for us so we could catch our train when we left. Good thing, too, because the taxi was late and we made it with six minutes to spare!

We stayed at the Hotel Le Saint-Patrice at the start of our recent two week trip to Normandy and Brittany. We used it as the base in Bayeux for our touring of the D Day beaches and memorials. It is quiet, and well located with easy access to a large grocery store for wine for the room, and close as well to some very nice local restaurants. The day we left was market day in the square next door which was fun as well. We particularly want to thank the manager. Unfortunately our luggage did not arrive in Paris when we did and it took Air Canada four days to get it delivered to us. The Hotel Manager was extremely helpful in dealing with the delivery company to get it on our last day in Bayeux, as well as helping as make alternate arrangements to get to our next destination, Mont Saint-Michel. She was extremely kind and generous with her time, and we greatly appreciated the support and assistance.

The whole experience of staying at this hotel is one that took our expectations, and exceeded then tenfold. The owners are truly wonderful people who have created a lovely little boutique hotel. Rooms are clean, well maintained and spacious. The layout of the building gives a nod back to its historic origins but has been renovated to a high standard of finish. The owners went well beyond the call of duty to help my sister who had dropped her motorcycle and repaired it at their small workshop. The location is spot on being at one end of the main road in Bayeux, a short walk to all the local amenities and 50 metres from a small supermarket for the essentials. Rue St Patrice is not too busy and even our rooms, which overlook the road were quiet with the windows closed.

This is a great hotel to serve as a base to explore Normandy and the D Day beaches. Located in town, it was an easy walk to explore Bayeau and to many restaurants. Free parking is a short walk to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Only negative is that there is no lift and the upper rooms are accessed by steep, windy stairs which could be difficult for those with mobility issues.

The location is right on the main street so it's easy to walk everywhere in Bayeux as well as getting in and out of town by car. There's also plenty of parking nearby. The room was amazing, with plenty of pillows, blankets, lighting, and a nice view of the street. Also felt very safe with a locked gate.

Only complaint is the shower drain being clogged. Probably a one-off issue that will be fixed, but couldn't have two people showering in the same night

Late check-in procedure saved our day! We wanted to check-in late in the evening to spend a few more hours in Honfleur on our way to Bayeux. Aline and Jérôme immediately sent us late check in instructions, which were quite clear. Free parking options are great. We parked in Lombarderie free parking area which are 5 minutes walking distance to the hotel. There are also free street parking options.

Room & bathroom were extremely spacious. The bed was really comfortable. We could park our motorbike outside our room in the courtyard so it was secure. Breakfast was lovely with a really good selection. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

nothing although it would have been nice to have a kettle as we couldn’t get coffees after 9pm in Bayeux

Had family room-kids had privacy in upstairs loft. Great secure location. Staff lovely.

Our room was a bit noisy with guest arrivals/departures since it faced the gate but was only a few instances. Would have loved an in-room coffee machine since cafes don’t do takeaway for early morning travel plans-but we knew this before booking.

Very clean, good location, super nice lady at the front desk, close to a lot of restaurants

If they had A/C and a ceiling fan we would stay At St Patrice again, but it was hot in our room without A/C and temperature been so hot outside in the middle of September.

Very kind hosts, the breakfast was nice as well. Nice baguette and croissant. Beds were really nice as well as the rooms, shower, etc. Would 10/10 go again. Close to the landing beaches as well. Best stay of our trip.

If you go out to the city and come back late, you have to use the lock on the fence. The buttons to enter your code, you have to press them real hard for the fence to open. That is the only thing I can think off.
