Reception was joyous. A great welcome and so helpful with the places to go. Room was big and comfortable and shower an excellent walk in size. Sometimes I like a bath but I don't like stepping into a bath for a shower so a walk in like we had was superb. I walked down to the beach for a swim in the morning and it was glorious. I was astounded by how warm the water was as our beach is in a cove. My eczema disappeared after the second swim and for that reason alone I'd come back. The bars and restaurants nearby were perfect and we had a fantastic stay. As we told the receptionist we are part of the Edinburgh branch of the Arnaud Massy appreciation society. The famous french golfer who hails from Biarritz and won the open in 1907. He was the first Basque golfer to win a major and would be followed by Jose Maria Olazabal and Jon Rahm in later years. Next time we will try to get a game but this time was all about relaxing and enjoying the April sun. Thanks and see you soon.

I enjoyed the stairs up but my wife would've preferred a lift

Loved the fact everything was modern and very clean. The shower gel/shampoo are also organic which I personally appreciated it. Very nicely and practically thought and I found it cute. Very well located and close to Biarritz attractions.

Unfortunately the room and bathroom are quite small and being 2 we felt sometimes not having enough space. It was obviously ok for a 2 night stay but probably would not have been as pleasant for a very long stay.

The location is wonderful, easy to find, near the city center and the ocean. The facilities are great, the bed is comfortable, the room is quite small but compact, very clean, reminds me of Japan hotel. The concierges are wonderful, very friendly and easy going. If I plan on my next trip to Biarritz, will choice the same hotel.

The shower water was not very strong, but I think it's not a big problem. There's no bathroom supplies, such as tooth brush and razor, have to bring your own.

Location is more than excellent, everything is walking distance. Its a shame there is no view, but clearly that is also reflected in the price, so fair enough!! The best bit was the staff, their language skills were perfect and they were so helpful and kind!!

nothing really, all was excellent. room was as described. really good quality beds and excellent shower! next door is a cofee/pattisserie place which is lovely, but if the breakfast room was a little more enticing i would have liked that!

The hostess is exceptionally friendly. Though I tried to use my rusty French, I discovered that she speaks better English than 90% of Americans do. The breakfast was delicious with an interesting selection of items served. For the price you can't beat the location. Walk out the front door and you're at la Petite Plage (the little beach) with restaurants and shops just steps away.

I had to leave to return home.

The woman at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and kind. She gave us recommendations for places to go and called a cab for us. She is a treasure. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious. The room was very clean and served our purpose, and it was in a fantastic location. I would stay here again.

The bed was pretty firm but after being up all night on an airplane, I didn't care and slept like a rock.

Great location, great Manager/Owner, clean and comfortable. Taxi: be ready to pay 20 euros to airport/airport bus station instead of 10-12 for 4.2 km (2.4 mile) ride if you are leaving in the morning - taxi drivers' call, and you have no other alternative options (unless you want to be late!).

A/C: there is a central control hotel over rooms monitors, and even after our request, the "fan" option was not switched to A/C. Hotel is definitely trying to save electricity on A/C. But everything else is perfect!

It’s location in the old town and very close to the Petite Plage. Also, it was recently refurbished. Thierry at the reception was very nice.

It was a very small hotel, the room was small and the bathroom too small. Wi-fi didn’t work. It did not provide beach towels. They did not offer us breakfast (we found out the last day that they serve breakfast in a patio on request). No frigobar. No sheets in the bed (only duvet cover). No people on the reception after 7 pm.

Friendly staff , great sound proofed rooms and very clean. Brilliant location too near to beach , fishing port, bars and restaurants

One small recommendation for coffee making facilities or provision of bottles of water in the room. It was a shame reception closes at 7.30 PM when we had an impromptu need to stay another night due to a flight cancellation .

Thierry was unbelievably accommodating and friendly, anything we needed was delivered with a smile, and he gave lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. Made our trip so homely and we will definitely return if we ever find ourself in Biarritz again. Room was nice and tidy in a perfect location for everything we wished to do.
