This hotel exceeded my expectations and was such great value for money (only 100 eur/night)! The room was recently renovated, sparkling clean and had way more amenities you normally get at 3 stars (a safety box, a kettle, a minibar, even a scale). The hotel is designed with a lot of thought and attention to detail and you can clearly see that the owner cares about it. The staff was nice and friendly and the breakfast was pretty decent and super fresh! Will definitely stay again.

The room could really benefit from a full-length mirror. Also just be aware that the nearest public parking is about 8 min walk uphill. So it's better to unload your suitcases near the hotel and then go to the parking.

The staff were so friendly, outlining everything I needed to know about my stay. I was provided a map and instructions on how to get to the main sites. They held my luggage for me on departure so that I could go and explore. Close to beaches, restaurants and easy to walk around. I had a room on the bottom floor with a lovely terrace.

My room was a little dark and I was below the stairs so could be a little loud at night when people were returning home. There were also mosquitos so I had to keep the door closed (not the hotel's fault).

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is well located. We had a delicious breakfast that we paid 14 euros per person for. It consisted of a savory and sweet buffet with good coffee. The hotel is well located and can be easily reached by bus from the airport. The hotel assisted to arrange a taxi to get us to the bus station as we left by bus. Remember to pre-book dinner. We struggled to get into the restaurant Bistro du Haou on the street corner of the hotel, but we ate good pizzas at Margaritas around the corner.

We had to carry suitcases down somewhat steep narrow spiral stairs.

A delightful hotel full of character and charm. The location in a quiet street yet close to the sea and the shops was perfect. An easy 5 minute walk to the bus stop for the airport. We really liked the private outside space with our garden room. The lemon drink for arriving guests was really welcoming

The breakfast room seemed a bit cramped - we didn't use it - there are good boulangeries close by

This hotel is a beautifully appointed establishment where staff and owners take pride in what they do and provide. The decoration and furniture looked like it had been selected with great care and the standard of workmanship was exceptional. The breakfast was very ample and tasty.

A mat of some sort in the bath would have been appreciated as the surface was quite slippy when used as a shower

We booked this room based on the looks. Very nice old fashioned French building with beautiful interior. The room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. Room was nice and cool on arrival. Bathroom was beautiful and 100% clean. Staff was very helpful and professional.

Finding a parking spot is a challenge in Biarritz. There is a spot in front of the hotel for dropping off and picking up your luggage, but this was not big enough for our (5.25 meter) long car. There is a (secured) parking close to the hotel, but getting there by car can be a challenge. Again, we drove a pretty large car and the streets in Biarritz are not made for these cars. Walk from the parking to the hotel is "less the 500 meters" but most of it is uphill. Getting back to the garage was a lot easier ;-)

Beautiful hotel, very stylish and well presented, in a very good location. Staff was excellent and breakfast was very good.

Two minor points: the room we booked was unavailable due to 'technical' reasons and we were offered a room at rez-de-jardin, which was fine, but certainly, not what we expected. The upsetting thing was that at the check-out the receptionist still tried to charge us for the original room which was 90euros more than the room we stayed in. Another point: the pillows were high and rock-hard, so we ended up sleeping flat on the sheet which was not the best of the experiences ((

The facilities offered were excellent - all very tastefully decorated. We especially enjoyed using the enclosed verandah setting for breakfast and snacks.

We would have preferred a room on the lower floors as we are elderly and did not realize thgat we had to walk upstairs as we were on the third floor

I absolutely loved this place!! The location couldn’t have been any better- 2 blocks from the beach and practically in the center of town as well! At the same time, it was also quiet! They have a beautiful European breakfast buffet and the staff is very friendly and professional. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

An old mansion transformed into a lovely boutique hotel. A team dedicated looking after your well-being. Comfortable, very clean and centrally located. From this hotel, everything can be done by walk. Highly recommended.
