The hotel was a beautiful boutique hotel, small number of room, a breakfast area and a lovely bar. It is nicely located just outside the main tourist drag of Bordeaux and closure to the Public Garden and Chartrons districts. The staff tended to our every need, offering us a complimentary cheese platter too on one of our nights there accompanied with some champagne. The hotel helped me with some restaurant bookings especially those that did not have websites or online bookings which helped our itinerary for the week to be really organised and running smoothly. There was an espresso machine in the room which was great for those quick coffee mornings before we set off for our day. It is located near (like walking distance) from most good restaurants and we were able to explore Bordeaux well using the hotel as our base. The room we had was bigger than I had anticipated and faced the internal parts of the hotel which were beautiful sandstone architecture and the bath products were Hermes - very special. My partner's parents had the Atelier Suite which was beautiful and spacious and faced greenery. The hotel staff could not have done more for us and were always on hand offering help and assistance. The hotel staff went to great lengths to make our stay a little home away from home.

The prices were punchy but it was well worth it in the end. The rooms could have been a bit bigger considering the price but perhaps it is Bordeaux.

Very good; not too much variety, but adequate, and quality of what was available was great. The staff - both in the dining area and the reception desk - was uniformly lovely: responsive, pleasant, helpful. Also, the location was great - near the town center, the Grand Theater, many restaurants, but on a quieter street with less traffic.

It seemed that there was only one cleaning person for the ~ 20 rooms, so often our room wasn't cleaned until later in the day.

Everything, we have been to a number of 5 star resorts and hotels and we would genuinely say that the service at Villa Foch was the best service we have ever received. All of the staff were so kind, informative and attentive it made the stay in Bordeaux incredible!

Comfort of the room, cleanliness, very helpful staff, parking car, booking restaurants, finding a doctor for us. Good bed, comfortable quiet. Liked the "eco friendly ' touches - no plastic, glass refillable bottles etc.

Would have liked more recommendations re good restaurants, places to go. Drinks at the bar and breakfast were very expensive.

everything! we always stay in a similar style and category or hotel but this one really stood out. location was great, a few minutes away from the centre but on a quieter road; the hotel facilities and breakfast were excellent; the room a lot bigger than expected, spotless; the service also spot on; little touches that really made a difference

The staff were excellent. Friendly, accomodating and helpful. The hotel was intimate and clean. A boutique feel in the middle of the city with easy access. Would highly recommend.

The room (suite) was an odd shape and the spaces were not overly large.

The location was great and the breakfast was wonderful, but the staff was exceptional!. Never have I enjoyed a staff that was so pleasant, helpful and willing to make certain that everything was taken care of just the way we wanted. If you go to Bordeaux do yourself a favor and stay at the Villa Foch Hotel.

EVERYTHING! You are in walking distance to so much! Trams, Restaurants, bars, museums, shops! The hotel is stunning and the customer service felt like we was royalty! All the facilities are of such high quality.

We could not fault anything!

The room was beautiful with such a comfy bed. The spa facilities were really good if a little small but then again there is only 20 rooms at the hotel which made it peaceful. The hotel was also in a great location to explore the city.

The smaller room I booked was slightly awkward to get into bed because of sloping wall.
