Lovely hotel with a beautiful garden with a wonderful swimmingpool. It is located right around the corner from the is wonderful city of Brantôme. Very nice people and wonderful food and wines! Thanks a lot.

It was really hot in de top of the room where our three boys slept and it was not to be solved with the small blower. And there is only a bath without curtain, every morning everything was totally wet.

We loved our stay here, the room, the bed, the bathroom a 10 The best the host Julian and Angelique were unbelievable they accommodated to our needs, help with suitcases, advice places to go and cook for us what we want it, one of us is vegetarian… The restaurant was great, do not need to go to another one you can Eat there and be very happy Julian prepare a cheese board with excellent wine that was fantastic Highly recommend it

Recently stayed at Le Jardin des Chouchoux and couldn’t have had a better experience! Julien & Angelique are exceptional hosts and made us feel most welcome, nothing was too much trouble and their attentiveness during a scorching heatwave with little touches such as water to our rooms, drinks by the pool and shaded tables for lunch was just wonderful - this cosy hotel is outstanding in character, in a beautiful & quiet location with lovely views and close to the town & amenities. would highly recommend a stay here and very much looking forward to returning! Food is fabulously French yet with some creativity & interesting combinations which will definitely surprise but satisfy you!

Fantastic host's Julian & his wife couldn't do enough for you, room was excellent well equipped & spotlessly clean, Julian is the chef, had 2 evening meals, & the food was excellent. Would definately like to go back just to stay & eat at this small friendly run family hotel. Couldn't stay any longer due to onward journey.

From the first communication prior to our visit, to the warm welcome by the family, and then the attentive and friendly contact with the owner, we were really well looked after. A most enjoyable night . The evening meal in the restaurant was also excellent. Julian was also most helpful in recommending our onward route south. In summary, first class. Thank you.

The hotel has a lovely pool and very good restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. We went to watch a stage of the Tour de France which coincidentally went right past the terrace on the front of the hotel. We were invited to join to watch it and were served food and drink all afternoon. What an experience! We will definitely be back.

Located within two minutes walk of Brantome market, shops and cafes, the hotel is perfectly placed. Parking immediately outside too. Breakfast always extremely fresh with local jams and juices. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern bathroom and swimming pool on site. We ate several meals at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed each one. This is a little peach of a discovery for travelers to this area.

Lovely boutique hotel, recently renovated, with warm and friendly owners, and a beautiful garden restaurant serving excellent dishes. Fantastic and charming room with great bed and bathroom looking out over the hotel and village. Parking for our car was just outside (not suitable for larger cars).

We were made to feel very welcome , nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly host family. Perfect location to walk into Town. Restaurant was exceptional. All round a perfect stay . We would highly recommend.

The property has really nice and spacious rooms, a great view, a beautiful pool and garden area and a really nice restaurant. The owners go out of their way to make sure guests have a great experience, whether it be with travel advice or advice regarding places to eat, visit or travel to in the area or otherwise.

Only extremely minor thing was smoking being allowed on the balconies/terraces flowing into other rooms.
