The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for what we needed. We were a family of 4 and they had managed to put in two single beds for the children. To be honest we were only there for a one night stay to get the early morning ferry so didn’t stay in the room for very long. The hotel is very central and there are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away. The hotel very kindly let us eat breakfast early so we catch the ferry and it did not disappoint. Everything fresh and well laid out and thought through. You could even have a boiled egg! Delicious pastries, bread and cereals.

No air conditioning. It was rather warm in the room.

The location of the hotel is quite close to the city center. The staff was very friendly and available. The room was big and comfortable. A fan was useful for the room climatization.

The room was very good acoustic insulated and no air conditioning was present. The breakfast could be a bit improved.

The location was perfect to visit Caen. The Castle car park was easy to access and reasonably priced We liked the warm and friendly welcome The room and bed were very comfortable and nothing was missing We had breakfast on the second morning; it was really good value for money and there was an excellent choice of options.

Nothing negative

Room was super comfortable with a balcony, a TV with a wide selection of channels and a super modern, spacious and clean bathroom. Teas and coffees supplied in the room with a reasonably sized desk.

Breakfast option was a little limited for a vegan, for the price.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed one night on our way back to ferry port so checked out very early. Our family of four given a big room with a large double bed and two singles. On street parking close to hotel was very affordable. Central location of hotel was great.

A very comfortable hotel for the price. The staff were extremely helpful (printing a conference paper for me) and very friendly. It's perfectly located for exploring both sides of the old town and near a tram stop,

I didn't have any complaints.

My friend fell down on the floor when going miscalculating the last step. To our surprise the woman behind the desk that watched the accident didn't lift a finger or acknowledge us. The floor was hard and my friend got badly bruised but fortunately broke no bones.

The breakfast was excellent, with many types of foods. The shower was large by European standards. the location was excellent: a few steps away from the tram, the Castle, the Tourism Office, and a (mostly) pedestrian shopping area. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. it was easy and inexpensive to go from the train station to the tram stop close to the hotel.

The phone in the room did not work, and was never fixed or replaced. The elevator went 7 steps above the 2nd floor, meaning we had to take our luggage down 7 steps to the room, and take it up 7 steps to go back to the elevator.

The hotel is nice and located very close to the city centre (5 min on foot from a city area full of restaurants). The rooms are clean, well equipped and overall pleasant. Breakfast was good, above the average even if not exceptional.

I'd say that the rooms are in general quite small and, in our particular case, the air drier (which is wall mounted) was not working.

I loved that it wasn't an American chain hotel. It was small, clean, cozy, and quiet. The breakfast option was perfect with enough tasty bread, eggs, cheese, meat, drinks, fruit, caffeine. It was also close to many stores, museums, and parks. It was also only a short 20+ minute walk from the train station.

It was not an issue for me at all, as I could get my own. It's more of a heads up that you need to provide your own shampoo and lotion if you want them. So, I liked that they weren't creating more plastic waste, but it's just something to be aware of if you stay. Maybe I could have asked at the front desk, but I chose to go to Monoprix which was really close.
