Very comfortable beds, clean good quality furnishings. A step up to the shower but was OK. The fridge in the room was a big plus. Breakfast was lovely but expensive at €20 each. Secure parking on site €12 a day, which was very handy and a reasonable price. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and did everything to help you feel at home. We would definitely stay here again.

Cannot understand why the bar closes at 10pm on a Friday and Saturday night at the height of the season. Several people wanted a drink from a hot chocolate to a digestif. Easily 10 people one night. Management needs to address this. Many guests were not impressed.

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly and helped when asked, but otherwise didn't interfere unnecessarily, which is good. Our dog felt at home too.

Car park we found tricky, with entrance and exit the same and that being quite blind and sloped. We nearly always met another car when leaving, and this resulted in minor damage to our own car on one occasion.

We arrived around 1.30pm on a very HOT day. Good, COOL, easy to find pre-booked parking. Check in from Mid-day so no hanging around. Lift from car park straight up to reception and hence to our room. All beautifully air-conditioned. No hair dryer in our room but a short call to reception and this was rectified in less than 5 minutes. Excellent shower. Good variety of food and drinks on offer for breakfast. fresh and well presented. Lots of lovely restaurants close by in the old quarter for dinner.

Not keen on modern rectangular wash basin with no plug/plug hole, just draining at the back.

Location with a car park (charged) underneath, which was very convenient ( especially the lift). Comfortable well appointed hotel, butnot the cheapest.

Several things. The safe in our room did not work. (Reception said they 'had problems with safes', but did nothing to resolve it.) Also had a bedside light not working. We were disappointed that there was no evening dinner service ( Albeit we were aware when we booked). It seems a lot of hotels have given up on dinner since the pandemic.

The rooms were very good, the bar was very nice, the ladies in Reception were excellent.

I did not book breakfasts in advance as I thought 14 euros was too expensive. On arrival, I was told that breakfasts were 20 euros. Therefore, we did not take breakfasts. The bar was very nice. I could say that drinks were on the expensive side but that may be typical of the area and the current financial climate.

on site parking, central location (walking to restaurants, chateau and other sites). easy to navigate to with car without having to drive on tight city streets. rooms were recently updated and have blackout shades.

rooms are a bit small (but typical for city center type hotels in Europe). it is a pet friendly hotel on all floors and all rooms so could be problematic if you have sensitive allergies. rooms are not very soundproof which is fine unless you have a poorly behaved yippee dog on your floor.

This was a quick overnight stay on our way to the ferry but actually we have said we will go back and stay longer as this hotel was affordable, clean and the comfiest beds ever and we want to go and explore the region. Very helpful staff and incredibly comfy beds made this a lovely overnight stay at the end of a longer trip. Really handy for the ferry port and close to the Normandy beaches for future exploration.

Happy to have AC. Breakfast buffet was great. Showers were luxurious.

I like a larger bed due to my height and frame. Assistance with arranging transport to and from the port would be a nice addition.
