Nice hotel in a rather quiet business area, plenty of parking space. Within a driving distance to Caen city center, excellent location for motorized travelers. Rooms are good and all the staff very helpful and professional. Swimming pool is slightly cold, but good for swimming, which is a really nice after a long day of walking/exploring. We also enjoyed their restaurant, which serves very good food. Book a table for dinner in the morning to get a seat.

Scrambled eggs for breakfast - tasted like made from powder left over by invasion forces. The rest of the breakfast was very good.

We were a group of 10 in 5 Classic cars. Good parking was essential. We also made good use of the bar and the pool. The restaurant was good but possibly not enough choice for 4 nights, but we found other options within a short walk. The bedrooms were quite basic but had everything we needed. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

One of our members was celiac but there were no gluten free options on the menu. However he did manage to sort something with the chef.

Overall our stay was good, and we're very likely to return. Location is excellent for the ferry. Rooms were clean, staff very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was typically continental, good and plentiful. As we had our dog with us, the adjacent open space was an unexpected handy plus.

It was unfortunate that our stay coincided with the July heatwave, so the lack of air conditioning counted against, and meant that the price seemed a touch expensive compared to similar hotels with air conditioning. On our second night, we were unable to have dinner 'in' as the kitchen closed early due to staff shortage, although to be fair we were close to closing time. A very minor niggle also was that the fruit juice machine was non-functioning in the breakfast bar, and no alternative was provided, which would have been an easy fix. But overall we had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was very acceptable and the room adequate in size and facilities, especially the shower which is basically a wet-room with a rain-shower head - the restaurant serves good food and what I would call a basic continental breakfast - watch those city charges though, the add up a bit - the staff were friendly, helpful and mostly spoke basic English which did help - the bed was very comfortable and the parking free

The hotel was a little out of the way and not easy to find even with a satnav - the bathroom was plain and simple and the room a little on the basic kind and small - the breakfast was continental and basic and the coffee machine tasted really weird

The pool was a treat after a long day travelling. We didn't use the restaurant as it was closed on the Sunday night but it was an unexpected bonus for future stays. The room was well furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The window wouldn't open properly and it was very warm. But the bed was so comfortable we did sleep well. The shower couldn't be used properly but was due to be fixed. Staff were very helpful.

We were able to check late (about 9pm french time) from the last ferry of the day. Staff were very friendly and there was a wide variety of food for breakfast. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

There was no air conditioning and there was some noise from the car park with the windows open.

Restaurant: i liked dinner, close to museum, the pool, parking, staff. Experience depends on the room. First one - bad smell from cleaning, broken window, so so toilet, next room we has been moved to on the second floor: just perfect exceeding expectatons although the layout is exactly the same

You can tell the hotel is not the most modern but it didn't matter because everything was clean and tidy and comfortable. The Shower was very good. I felt bad about flooding the floor because the screen was mounted on the wrong side of the bath to the shower but I tried my best. A good power-shower is very important so well done. Didn't get to use the pool this time but will definitely do so next time. The same goes for the restaurant (It was a flying visit this time). I had a good sleep, in the very comfy bed. The staff at reception were lovely and friendly. Really good value for money.

The breakfast was a little bit disappointing because there were no fruit juices available (or I didn't seem to get the machine to work), the water for the tea wasn't hot enough, and the tea (gold breakfast variety) wasn't the best tasting but really these are minor things, everything else was delicious.

If travelling by car, this an excellent choice - free parking and plenty of parking spots. Location was great, 25min walking to city center. To return from city with bus, number 12 takes you back. Very convenient way to see the city. Room was quiet and clean. There was a pool, but we didn't visit it.

I hope, one day the hotel will replace all small body was bottles to big ones. No need for private small one time use bottles

The staff as well the reasonably priced and great quality food... specifically the dinners.

The bathrooms are very poorly designed and the ventilation is marginal at best. Fortunately the windows can be opened wide! to vent the room of steam after a shower. Unfortunately when the temp is over 15 outside this takes a very long time
