Comfortable bed, and very friendly hosts. We also had a private terrace with the beautiful smell of jasmine, and a table if we didn't want to eat out. Excellent fan to keep cool at night! Quiet residential road. A short bus ride to the lake, from where it is possible to walk back if you don't mind a bit of a trek. For my budget - the alternative being a budget chain hotel - this was a superb option. Not too far away is a very good value bike hire shop that we only discovered on the last day; if we went again we would hire bikes for the duration and just cycle everywhere.

I booked it because it looked like the best value at short notice, having a pool and terrace, but the pool was unfortunately out of use! It was a long walk into town and the buses, although convenient and cheap, stopped early in the evening. However, we should have hired bikes; there was a good-value place nearby that we didn't find soon enough.

Great location to visit Carcassonne and the surrounding area, lovely host and pool area great for cooling down in the heat

The room was spotless and had a very nice on suite . The food was delicious and real value for money. The pool is a nice added bonus great place to stay

There is nothing to dislike

The accommodation is in a quiet, suburban area. The host is very friendly, helpful and direct. Fine breakfast, every day with other surprises. Parking directly in front of the house. Local bus (to the city centre) stops a few minutes from the house.

Sweet people , human and taking good care for their guests. She is a very creative cook. I really enjoyed these people and our stay

The location was approx 4 km from bars & restaurants. Each trip to eat cost us €17 each way. The pool that was advertised in original booking was actually seasonally closed. This wasn’t clear enough on the booking system. The proprietors were friendly.

The decor is very dated although clean.

This was listed as having a pool, no pool until July August. Bus transport was OK until Sunday, or the Monday, buses do not run on Sunday or Bank Holidays, wish we told this before we booked. Sunday tried to get a take out meal, no delivery. So we had bread and cheese Sunday and Monday that was it . The worst holiday we have been on. We enjoy going to the South of France and never had a problem until now. Could not get a taxi to the Airport as the Lady of the house said they not turn up . So asked husband to take us to the Airport at a cost of 40 Euro. This has been very and it was not a holiday for us . Hope you can rectify this so that other people do go through what we've through.
