I had to stay an extra third day due to problems with trains, but the staff were very helpful. They will speak good English for you, but better if you also use some French.

Nothing that was the fault of the hotel. It was hard to find as the streets are dark at night. Advice: turn left out of the rail station. Walk to the main road and cross to the STATUE; then take the dark street with two rows of trees as far as the ELEPHANTS statue. Turn right and the hotel is easy to see.

I really like the location in the city Centre (most famous attraction were at 1 minute walking). Also cleanliness was very good, as the staff at reception very kind, lastly I really appreciated the possibility to have infusion and others warm drinking anytime. I was in the 4th floor (mansard) and our room was tiny but so cozy (exactly as I saw in the picture).

The bathtub was not 100% comfortable to take shower as you couldn't stand up completely, but water pressure was perfect. Rooms are not completely soundproof but this wasn't a problem for us.

Location close to Old Town, modern bathroom, very comfortable bed with nice linens, tastefully decorated small lounge with comfortable chairs, excellent high quality breakfast with lots of choice, great self serve coffee machine, lovely ambience, hard working staff making sure everything was in plentiful supply! Tourist information pamphlets in English!

I loved everything.

This is a very good hotel. The room was small, but clean and comfortable with a nice shower room and air conditioning. It's in the centre of town so there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice - we really liked the fact that there were plenty of local products on offer. There are several public carparks nearby.

Everything about this Hotel is first class, from the location in the heart of l'Anicienne Ville to the friend and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and stylish, equipped with everything you need. We especially loved the complimentary tea/coffee and sitting at the front of the hotel enjoying an aperitif and watching Chambery life promenading past. The Front of House team were so friendly and patient with our attempts to speak French and the 'behind the scenes' staff were always around to make sure the room was in perfect condition, the tea/coffee supplies well stocked and even helped me with French lessons! Such a fun stay - we came for 1 night and stayed 6...Chambery is a beautiful city, so calm and pedestrian/cycle friendly, plus an amazing diversity of restaurants bars, cafes and shopping. This city and hotel have been a highlight of our holiday in la France! Merci beaucoup to everyone at Les Princes Hotel

300kg max for the elevator is not really enough for a family of four :-)

The quadruple room was great. The separate room for our daughters and the separate loo made the layout ideal. We appreciated the separate air con units in the two bedrooms. The breakfast was great - very high quality and choice. The reception and housekeeping team were very helpful and friendly.

More hangers would have been good.

A wonderful hotel in the Heart of Chambery. Reception staff are amazing and couldn't be more helpful - room very comfortable and spacious - a few English TV news channels which was great. Cleaning staff are wonderful. Breakfast was also plentiful. When you stay at Princes you are walking distance from everything you need in this wonderful place. Thanks for having us 😊

The staff were great. Helpful and friendly. The hotel location is brilliant, close to shopping and places tk eat and drink.

No room service in the hotel, hotel was listed as a spa, but there wasn’t one. No tea or coffee in the room (had to leave the room to get caffeine in the morning). But these were minor things.

A very beautiful hotel in the best location. Easy walk from the train station and right in the centre of the old town with restaurants and bars right on the doorstep. Stylish decor throughout. A generous breakfast offered which was delicious. Highly recommend.
