The property was on the second floor of a unique historical building located in the walking area of Chambery where there were many restaurants, shops, and things to do. The suite was clean, nice and quiet. The shower was wonderful and the in room expresso machine was nice as well. It is self service check in etc which was a bit confusing but ok once we figured it out. We were able to talk with the housekeeper daily and get clean towels etc.

We stayed in the Chambery suite. The double bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable (like sleeping on a bumpy rock) although my son said the single bed upstairs was fine. Also the Wi-Fi only worked in the main area of the house, not in the suite. I had questions about what things guests had access to that were complimentary or not and emailed the hosts but never received a reply from them. There was also no washing machine although it was listed as an amenity.

Fab location on the second floor, accessed from a small mews just off the pedestrianised central part of old Chambery. Walking distance to everything. Huge room full of original features. Two tips: Firstly, don't bring a heavy bag - there is no lift and it's up two flights of stairs. Secondly, the location is in the middle of a pedestrianised area so it's not really possible to drive a car to load/unload. There are lots of nearby public carparks within 3 or 4 mins walk and the nearest drop-off/pick-up place is perhaps a 200m walk.

Places to plug in devices for charging were a little limited. Maybe a trailing extension socket or two would help?

Beautiful suite in the old town of Chambéry. The suites are in an old beautiful building, on the 3rd floor. The house is beautifully renovated and with excellent taste decorated. You feel like back in the 19th century, very elegant and calm. We did not see anyone during our stay. A code is provided to access the house. You can arrange breakfast for 15€ pax. We had to leave early and did not try it, but the breakfast room was also lovely. Ideally, for couples who are looking for a romantic stay in Chambéry. They have Nespresso machine with caps in the room. If you come by car, you can make a reservation at the Q-Park Hotel de Ville, 5 minutes from the house. With the reservation the parking costs less (for us it was 11€). There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. On Sunday morning most cafés are not open. The communication with the host was very good, they called to make sure we had received the code and to ask if we wanted the breakfast. Chambéry is also worth a visit. Nice place!

Huge room, it felt like an apartment. Except a fancy aristocratic French apartment. Nice little shared kitchen. Good location. Easy check-in after hours with a code share and clear directions.

It was hot and there was no provided fan; the streetside windows block out all sound but if it's warm and you open up, it's VERY loud. Also the shower temperature is lukewarm. They have it set so you can't click it in and go past the hottest default setting, but should bump that a bit.

Finding and entering the hotel after late arrival was a bit spooky, but functioning exactly as described and once in the room a great experience. Breakfast was outstanding, really French and with fresh juice, warm bread, different sorts of cheese and marmalade, honey, ham, croissants and coffee/tea. Chambéry a very charming city with great gastronomy (especially Restaurant Folie), design, culture and lot more in the pipeline! Looking forward to return!

No cleaning during the four days stay, which was not a problem during this wartime , but I think it would be good to flag for it beforehand.

One of the most beautiful apartment I ever stayed in, with an amazing location. Old historic building with high ceiling, very well maintained. Overall great value for money and highly recommended

It's not really a hotel as reception or stuff was practically non existence. They had a weird tiny room for several hours each day and other than that you have no one to talk to if you need anything. Second floor with no elevator. No refrigerator or mini bar at the room (only in the shared kitchen). The apartment was not clean (full of dust).

Typical french breakfast for a reasonable price. The rooms are magnificient. The bars on the street give some noise in the evening, hovever they cose at a reasonable time. This do not disturg the rooms not facing to the street (the view is not special anyway) I would suggest one of the rooms not faciing the street, General impression: Splendid, woth every penny. And the price was reasonable.

No staff- we had no hot water and no one to tell-I thought we just couldn’t figure out the shower- but the sink had no hot water either- also parking was an issue- we had to find a garage and then walk- and the building -although very central location- very hard to find the first time- and the day we were there was 90 degrees and apartment doesn’t have AC

Enormous room, very French with wonderful high ceilings/windows/doors and beautiful decor. Lovely communal spaces top.

We had no loo roll so messaged owners but never heard back from them. We had to go into another room to get some. We also had been asked whether and when we wanted breakfast and we told them but no one was expecting us for breakfast, making us run a bit late.

Excellent location easy foot access to the beautiful old town. lovely big room very clean quiet and comfy.

The shower over the bath had no where to fix the shower head which meant it was difficult to use as a proper shower.
