The room was spacious and the meals large, well cooked and excellent value for money. There was a good set menu for the evening meal and excellent range of food at breakfast. A big plus was the availability of gluten free bread.

The window in our room was locked and was too hot during the night despite the provision of a fan we saw in the morning that other rooms had their windows open so we should probably have asked staff about it. The hairdryer in the bathroom was one of those strange box like designs and I couldn’t see in the mirror whilst using it. Glad I have short hair as it had one very low speed.

This hotel is very convenient for Le Shuttle. It takes pets and is situated in an area with plenty of access to walks for our dog

We have used the hotel regularly for a few years. We always have dinner there as well as breakfast. This time we were very disappointed in the dinner. We chose the three course menu and both the entrees and desserts were fine. The main course though was a let down. We both chose salmon which arrived so overcooked it was like rubber. The accompanying parsley sauce was curdled. Not a pleasant experience.

Great location just after arriving on a late channel train. Great sized room for me and my three dogs. Large grassed area in front of the hotel to walk the dogs. Nice to have a kettle, ceramic mugs and coffee/tea provided. Very nice bathroom. I will definitely stay again when travelling via Le Shuttle

Its a small thing I know but the pillows were atrocious!! Over stuffed with foam pieces - very uncomfortable - really impacted my sleep. I finally gave up and wrapped some of my clothes in a scarf and used that instead!!

Property is superb. Within easy access from the euro tunnel, but slightly tucked away which was really good on the security front. Rooms were fantastic, spacious, well equipped, and quiet. Really well equipped for people with electric cars.

Breakfast was basic. I personally felt it was not value for money. For €10.20 I could have nipped into a local bakery and bought a better selection for less. Smoking at the front door. I’m not normally anti-smoking, but I could smell cigarette smoke when I got out of the car. Also, every time I entered or left the hotel I had to negotiate a group of smokers who were congregating around the entrance. Wouldn’t take much effort to create a smoking area off to the side of the building.

Nice welcome and the short way to the room ideal. Good car parking close to the entrance. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety. All self service but that’s what I liked even more. I came and choose what I wanted and left when I finished. We got some drinks taken off our bill although we did not complain about the tough steak as we were really tired after a long drive. Good customer service. Big bed and good shower.

The flank steak we ordered and received was very tough close to inedible. Everything else was good.

Hotel is easy to find and is a great location for the Channel Tunnel (and Cite Europe, although we didn’t go there.) The hotel exceeded our expectations with the interior much nicer than the exterior. We thought it would be very basic like a Travelodge but it was superior. We booked accommodation only but were offered to book breakfast and dinner on arrival. We decided on staying for dinner as we’d had a long car journey. Dinner was very good value (but limited choice) and the wine was cheap (but beer expensive). The room was clean and comfortable and had a fan available, the shower was good too. Plenty of parking.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and as always the room was comfortable, a good size and very clean. The best thing about this hotel is that it is literally a 5 minute drive from the Eurotunnel with plenty of parking. If the restaurant is open the food is of a good standard. There are good stretches of grass to allow dogs (and humans!) to walk and stretch their legs after a long drive.

Very disappointed that the restaurant was closed on Sunday. We had enjoyed a good meal previously and were looking forward to another. Unfortunately we didn't think to check the opening hours when we booked. The location in the open countryside means that there are no convenient restaurants nearby.

Our 3rd visit to this hotel, which we book due to it's location. The evening meal in the restaurant was again very good value. Our room was comfortable with good bathroom facilities and very clean.

Some of the staff on this visit could have been a little bit friendlier although the waitress in the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately we had to suffer all night with a buzzing noise in the room that fluctuated in volume. It turned out to be a heat pump issue and affected the entire hotel so changing rooms was not an option. I know it's not the hotel's fault but it did affect my sleep and made our 4+ hour drive home in England quite tiring.

Ideal stop just two minutes from the channel tunnel crossing. Large clean room, super bed, great well stocked variety breakfast and a restaurant for dinner if you want it. Free and plenty of car parking. Eurocity Shopping Centre one minute away . Close to Sangatte beach . Perfect if travelling with a dog ( dog permitted in the breakfast room also ) and good large safe grassed dog walking field surrounding the hotel.

Bins in the car park full and overflowing as people, not resident, charging cars at the charging points , dump fast food and other garbage.

Easily reached quickly from the Channel tunnel, good sized room and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly, they could even go into the restaurant with us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant open until 9 and food fine (not the tiramisu unfortunately - sweet and pleasant, but nothing like a tiramisu) Kettle and coffee in the room Easy parking. Quick access to the motorway in the morning.

Mainly the tiramisu - should have had the lemon meringue... And would have liked milk in the room.
