The property has good facilities and was extremely clean which was good. The owners were lovely too and very welcoming.

The location. It was very far away from any tourist attraction. It would not have been a problem if buses were frequent but the buses to Paris only ran twice once early in the morning and once in the evening. I also did not like the fact that we were sharing the hotel with the owners themselves as they lived in there too which meant strict house rules were in place and needed to be followed at all times. I was once even told off for the door banging which was due to the wind in the shower room as the window was left opened. I do understand it’s your own house so you can be extra careful with things but you have to realise that we are paying guests and we are there to relax and have good time and not be bound by strict rules and regulations.

We stayed a night for a local wedding. Fred was happy to let us use the rooms early to change in our fineries once we'd had our sandwiches in the garden. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious - no need for lunch! A hugely warm welcome, beautiful home and great facilities. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate so we couldn't use the pool or the garden!

Nothing to dislike!

It was wonderful! Fred was available to get up with us at our early hour - 5:00 am in the morning to go to the brocante! Orange juice, croissants, yogurt, cereal, coffee - it was delicious.

Honestly, for our needs, it was perfect!

The chambre was clean and tidy and the owner manager was very pleasant. The location was good for us as we had to drive the next day to Limoges The breakfast was basic continental type.

The bedroom was one of three on the first floor. The stairs were narrow and steep with no handrail. My wife has a mobility issue and struggled on the stairs. The booking info stated private bathroom, however this proved not to be correct. Our original room had a shared shower and toilet, we upgraded atva cost of 10 euro to a room that had its own shower and sink, however the toilet was still shared with the two other rooms. Not good.

Lovely place, great hosts - even though we were delayed getting there, they still provided an excellent three course dinner eaten outside on the patio with another couple who were also guests. The breakfast was also great and it was really nice to eat outside in the lovely garden.

The main issue for us was that the room was described as having a private bathroom, it does have a shower and washbasin but the toilet is shared with the other rooms and is down a corridor, it would be better if it was described on booking.com as having a private shower and washbasin with shared toilet.
