We had the three bed apartment above the shop and it was absolutely perfect in every sense. We loved the location, the interior design, the cleanliness and comfort. The beds were comfy, sheets clean, our towels were changed each day. We self catered a couple of nights and the big kitchen bench was great to sit around and drink champagne. We were a group of 6 ladies travelling together in Champagne and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to start our trip in France. The breakfast each morning was also wonderful as were the staff.

There was nothing to complain about except that the apartment was very hot so we turned off the heating even though it was cold outside. And, we would suggest a full length mirror and better mirrors in the bedrooms.

The staff was very responsive to our requests. The property was lovely and a perfect location,walking distance to everyt hing. Great perk being able to park on site. The hostess Kristina was very friendly. There's a mini kitchen and plenty of storage. Water and juice in the fridge are included in the room fee as well as a free glass of champagne, so that's a nice thing. Overall we had a lovely visit here. It's more on the high end but with all the room size and features you get a lot for the money.

We had a bit of difficulty with the coffee machine; finally got it but just know its not for what we consider a good cup of coffee size wise- more like expresso. I would have given a 10 but we had the room right next to the main drag which got kind of loud first thing in the morning as folks rolled into town, and sometimes at night.

Extremely comfortable apartment with everything you need for a wonderful few days in Epernay. Located above the champagne tasting rooms with a private terrace. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Perfect location for wandering along the Avenue de Champagne. Air con was wonderful as it was quite hot. Short walk to restaurants. Furnishings and decor were exactly as pictured. Champagne was excellent. We absolutely loved our stay!

All staff were extremely helpful and considerate and the location is excellent with an easy walk into the centre. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was well organised. There were good offers on the house champagne and it was a nice place to return to each day.

We had a room on the road side of the property and the traffic noise was intrusive at times. It was quiet in the night but started off quite early in the morning.

Location, location, location - right on Ave de Champagne. The property is situated in the period gate-house of Champagne de Venoge so tastings of their various champagnes are available on site. Our room (#4) was upstairs with a view of the extensive, peaceful garden which is worth wandering around. The suite was a good size with a small kitchen area and mini-bar containing several bottles of their champagne. Tastefully decorated in neutrals with wooden window shutters to keep out the heat and light. Superbly comfortable, huge bed, a decent sized shower-room with organic toiletries. We were encouraged to park our convertible at the front of the house which was convenient for us and nice for them. The Venoge HQ in the main house was quiet as we stayed over the weekend. It started bustling on Monday morning as we were leaving. All the staff - particularly the weekend team whom we go to know - were helpful and professional - it was a perfect weekend.

OK so we didn't buy any of their champagnes - although they have won many prizes and are rated highly - each to their own in this ultra-competitive market! We don't usually eat breakfast - which was included in the room rate - so I guess an option not to pay for it would have been appreciated, but I'm really clutching at straws to find things I didn't like :-)

We had Room 2 - the one with the terrace. It was spacious, well decorated, clean - with a small kitchenette including a fridge. The terrace was a nice place to sit with sun in the morning but shaded in the evening. The breakfast across in the shop/bar was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Direct access onto the Avenue de Champagne with Moët, Mercier, Collard Picard, A Bergère, all less than 5 minutes walk away if you needed to try other than the very nice de Venoge champagne!

The only slight downside was that the main house was being used as a film set for a couple of days whilst we were there. There were a lot of film crew milling about until about 1900hrs each evening which rather spoiled the atmosphere in the beautiful courtyard.

Location absolutely incredible on Avenue du Champagne alongside all the champagne houses. Staff more than helpful and friendly - recommending a great restaurant for the evening too. Room was large, beautiful and spotless. The breakfast being included was great and also delicious. Champagne on arrival was a lovely touch and made it feel even more luxurious!

The best location in town, right on the avenue de champagne. One of the few places to stay at a champagne house. Staff lovely. Room lovely, comfortable for 5-6 people Nice big kitchen. French breakfast of pastries, bread and cold cuts and cheese.

Room lovely, would be nice to have a full length mirror. No laundry facilities. Hard to find things not to like

The 1st floor we booked was spacious and very nicely decorated.

It took me about 10 minutes to figure out that the ev charging box only works after visiting the reception. I also walked into the wrong building and was directed to the reception. A sticker on the charging box and a sign pointing out the reception would have really improved my first impression

First, the location is wonderful (you are at walking distance from other Champagne houses for a tasting , a couple of really good restaurants, the Pharmacy, and the Sephora 😊 - for the French beauty products lovers). Second, the place is beautiful (imagine yourself driving through those gates and park your car next to the main house). Third, the room we had (nr. 3) was spacious and very well equipped (it is however on the ‘Avenue’ side so if you are prone to street noice disturbance you may want to ask for a room on the rear of the hotel, but than again, it did not bother us at all - and I’m sensitive to it). Fourth, the staff were great, very attentive and of course very knowledgeable about their champagnes... We would be very happy to come back if we feel like a ‘Champagne weekend’ again.
