This B & B is in a great position. Can walk to shops and restaurants. The room was quite large and very comfortable with an adjoining small sitting room which opened onto a private courtyard. The hostess went to alot of trouble and provided dinner the night we arrived and always something special at breakfast. Having a small refrigerator in the room was great.

Nothing major at all. The toilet cubicle in the bedroom was extremely small. There was no where other than a hanging cupboard for clothes. No big deal if only travelling for a couple of weeks but we were travelling 7 weeks and had quite a few clothes.

Laure is a wonderful host who loves to serve and make her guests happy and comfortable. She went out of her way to prepare for me gluten free goodies. She cooked us wonderful breakfasts with homemade yogurt and jam. She also prepared our dinner one night since it’s hard to eat out on a Sunday. Our room was comfortable and large. She provides many amenities for the bathroom including robes and slippers. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was very good, delivered to the room, fresh, partly home-cooked and delicious. Madame is evidently a very good cook. The accommodation was well-prepared and immaculately clean.

We were startled to find that the shower cubicle was in the bedroom, and even more that the toilet cubicle was also in the bedroom. The upside was that there was a pleasant small sitting room attached to the bedroom. Madame was unwilling to suggest a local restaurant to us, and told us everywhere was likely to be fully booked; she herself can provide dinner, but we hadn't realised this. It would have felt more friendly to be given a couple of suggestions; as it was, we had to walk into town (five minutes) and hunt around (try the restaurant attached to Le Berceau hotel, upmarket, delicious).

The property is centrally located for a visit to Epernay with free on street parking outside the house, although not a big availability of spaces. The rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished, with a generous supply of toiletries and drink making facilities in the room and an interesting selection of books provided about the region and champagne making. We we’re lucky enough to have dinner and breakfast at the house and were bowled over by the quality of food provided for both meals- all home made but of top restaurant quality. Laure the host is not only a superb cook but was extremely welcoming and available on site if needed. Highly recommended.

Laure was a superb host. Greeted us on arrival with a glass of champagne and home made cake and was very welcoming. The apartment was well decorated and comfy with nice extra touches like slippers and dressing gowns. Laure made us breakfast early on a Sunday morning as we needed to leave to catch the train. The property is located on a quiet street but only 5 mins walk from the town centre. Overall a great, quirky place to stay.

Fantastic welcome, lovely little apartments (there are 2 for guests on the ground floor of the house) and fantastic location. The highlights include the lovely little touches such as a champagne welcome, some homemade biscuits and little stories in the guest book. And then Laure herself is just the most wonderful host. We took the advice of fellow reviewers to dine with her. We had no idea what dish was coming next but it was all great: local ingredients, fresh, comforting, simple but super flavourful and fantastic - all with a little origin story. Great breakfast delivered to room or patio too.

We wish we'd had another day at the venue and in beautiful Épernay.

Ground floor, own suite of rooms well furnished and very comfortable. Wonderful host who greeted us with a glass of champagne and home made cake. Laure was so warm and welcoming and spoke excellent English. There was lots of local information provided and more home made biscuits, tea and coffee facilities, large bathroom and access to outside seating area. Excellent hot/cold breakfast with fresh orange juice, delicious home made yogurt and jam and more home made cake. Easy walking distance to Avenue de Champagne and town centre.

There was nothing to dislike

Clean with cozy decoration. The owner Laure is very kind and host us well. Self cooked breakfast is amazing especially the breads and the experience to have it in a cute little garden was refreshing. Location is perfect very close to avenue of Champagne and down town by walk. Parking is easy and free on the street. Highly recommend.

was complicated to find parking on the street. check in strictly at 5. couldn’t even leave our stuff secure in the building and go explore the town, which was very important for us travelling on the motorcycle

We had a wonderful stay at Chambre D'Hotes les Epicuriens. Laure is an excellent host and made us very welcome. The room was really 2, with a bedroom and a private lounge (both very spacious, with lots of personal touches). We enjoyed a very French evening meal with excellent champagne provided by Laure, in the pretty courtyard at the rear of the property. We loved the location - very short walking distance to the town centre but in a very quiet street. We hope to return next year!
