Absolutely beautiful and tasteful decoration in keeping with the French aesthetic. Excellent quality of all decor furnishings the linen, kitchen and all appliances. The location was terrific very central and yet quiet and private. Wonderful calming garden and a delicious afternoon tea and cool drinks on arrival. Everything was top class from the staff to the facilities to the setting. Thank you

The only adverse issue was our arrival as we did not realise there were two entrances one at the front, a pedestrian area and one at the back a large easy road. We had missed the email explaining this issue. Remember to check your emails even when travelling to have all current information at hand.

We have just had a week in France touring Normandy and Brittany, staying in five different hotels and by far the best by a long way was La Petite Folie, very warm welcome on arrival by our lovely host and owner Sukru who showed us around the really beautifully furnished lounge areas, garden etc. He then took us to our room which was delightful so nicely decorated, it had everything you could possibly need a sink a very well stocked refrigerator, water, tea and coffee making facilities. The room and bathroom all looked so clean and well appointed in fact it seemed brand new, spotless. Great shower and all the little things you required were supplied, shampoo, soap etc. The bed is extremely comfortable, bedding immaculate, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Outside the garden was again a delight to sit in, stunning plants all so well cared for, table and chairs, hanging chairs, all you could possibly want. Very close to the harbour area and all the restaurants etc, parked outside the rear of the hotel, a bit expensive but there is free parking 300 metres down the road. We both would thoroughly recommend this hotel as it ticks all the boxes, and on speaking to other guests staying there we all agreed that we would return here without hesitation

Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. We had a lovely stay here. From the minute arrived we were warmly welcomed, shown around the facilities (which are great, lovely living space with games and gardens outside perfectly maintained, plus a garden room to enjoy tea in) and given restaurant recommendations for the local area. The room itself had everything we needed including air con and a coffee machine. The whole place was decorated so beautifully, with great attention to detail. And location can’t be faulted - opposite the park on one side and in town near lovely shops and restaurants on the other side. Thank you!

Decor is absolutely fabulous and the accommodation is very stylist and considered. Beautiful lounge areas, outside and in. The rooms are very comfy, with excellent quality fabrics and furniture. And also with some basic cooking facilities so you could spend a good amount of time here. The view of the park is gorgeous from the rear of the accommodation and the central location of perfect for exploring the town of Honfleur which is a really lovely fishing port. Didn't have breakfast but I'd have no doubt it was excellent. Staff great and check in was very smooth with good communication on closed roads, parking and where to visit.

Gem of a small hotel. Beautifully furnished suite overlooking lovely little garden. Super comfy king sized bed. Nice little galley kitchen with fridge. Sukru the owner was a hospitable and friendly yet unobtrusive host. Great location on a traffic free quiet street close to the centre of the lovely Honfleur harbour. For our 4 day stay we parked our car about 400 metres away at the Naturuspace car park which is free. There is also street parking (payment) to the rear of the property. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is stunning, the furnishings and decor are of a very high quality, the garden is beautiful and you are encouraged to use it . The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and keep the property spotless. It is in a perfect position, so close to the centre of the town but away from the harbour. I will certainly be recommending it to family and friends.

This little hotel is a gem. The common areas, the rooms, and the garden were all beautifully designed and perfectly maintained. The location was also very convenient to the port, restaurants, and the Saturday market in the Place Set Catherine. We were extremely comfortable and very glad to be staying in such a lovely environment.

For me the bed was a bit soft, but that is all!

Location was excellent for our stay in Honfluer and Normandy area. The property is very well decorated and also has modern conveniences, wifi, security,etc. The gardens are wonderful for a break. The staff are great and prompt with requests answered and service great. When in area, we will be back to check out the additional outdoor room.

Breakfast could be improved ,probably also be nicer in the downstairs room which was lovely but unused. although a fan is provided it did get hot when we visited so aircon may have been useful.

La Petite Folie was lovely. Clean, beautiful and comfortable. Honfleur is a charming town with Michelin rated restaurants and classy well-priced boutiques. A French vacation experience at its best. The town gets busy but because of La Folie’s excellent situation, I was able to enjoy it COVID safe. The beach is a short but pretty walk from LPF, so I could visit when it was virtually empty. Industrial Le Havre looms across the bay but I was able to enjoy soft sand and the sound of waves lapping without a crowd which is otherwise pretty much impossible in the summer. I was able to park in the town’s nearby free parking lot the entire time. There are many beautiful drives with small country shops and restaurants you can safely visit when Honfleur is busy. Or you can enjoy La Petite Folie’s beautiful quiet enclosed spacious garden. The rooms have tidy stylish kitchenettes and are cleaned every day. Quiet and newly renovated. Mine had air conditioning. Ask for a garden view and if you have a lot of luggage ask for a lower floor. The management is new and very good. They were available and attentive remotely and in-person. From La Petite Folie, I went to the airport, took and passed my COVID test for re-entry to the US. It was a wonderfully relaxing time.

I would have liked a light blanket in addition to the comfy duvet, so I could switch if I was too warm or too cold. I would have liked more milk for my coffee with breakfast. I would have liked gluten free granola or muesli as an option to bread.
