The property is very close to Calanques which makes it very convenient and driving to the other tourist spots is also very easy. The room is very cozy and comfortable with a guest lounge and balcony from where you can see the city lights at night. Our host - Christiane was very sweet and welcoming making us feel right at home. The breakfast is scrumptious and Christiane was very sweet to wake up early to prepare breakfast for us since we needed to leave early. All in all 10/10 for the room, hospitality and breakfast. If we go to marseille again, we know where we will stay!

Wonderful and quiet location, with a beautiful view overlooking Marseille and a little bit of the sea as well from the upper terrace. Little but comfortable pool. Kind and helpful owners - living right below the rooms they friend with a dog and their family, but they’re really quiet and really kind. 

Unfortunately, we were given a room where the beds were really uncomfortable (the kind of “health” beds the back part of which could be lifted for the elderly who have moving difficulties).  Maybe exactly because of this the mattress is way too soft for people of healthy backs prefer a hard mattress to sleep on. | a car is definitely needed to get anywhere but whoever is looking at this property will be aware of this I’m sure  :)

We went to Marseille for a concert at the Velodrome; the location was perfect for access. Quiet residential area, perfect for a relaxing break. Also very easy access to all the sights; Chritiane and her family are very helpful, and knowledgeable of the area; We stayed for 2 nights, had a lovely breakfast of fresh coffee ,juice, croissants jams served on the upstairs terrace with views of the sea and the very famous Basilica de la Notre Dame de la Garde; I would highly recommend this property, which also has a lovely pool, in well tended and comfortable gardens;

Only thing missing was a freezer compartment in the fridge for ice in my evening drink ! But Christiane did provide me with some from her personal freezer !

The host was lovely! It was close to the calanque park Breakfast was prepared the night before because we had an early flight Great amenities!

We didn't stay long enough to really make an opinion. It was a bit confusing to drive there but I think that's more a "France road system" problem!

The hostess was super accomodating. I was running late from my hike in Verdon and was supposed to arrive around 8pm, but got there at 10pm. They waited for me, helped me with the luggage and was super nice. Brekafast was so lovely on the porch and fresh air. They suggested I leave my luggage in their home until I come back from my hike, to avoid breaking into my car. That was super nice.

1. The reservation did not say this is a room in someone house. The room was very comfortable, but it was a bit awkward. 2. I wish there was soap and more towels in the bathroom.

Lovely hosts. Absolutely flexible and helpful. They even recommended and booked a great restaurant for us. The swimming pool and the garden was fab!

We arrived on a very hot day and really missed the aircon. Any other times, it would have been enough to leave the window open. The area is really remote and quiet.

Location is amazing and we couldn’t have wished for better hosts. We felt welcome from the first minute and the breakfast and view were superb

Christine was super nice and helpful. the house is very close to the hike to calanques Sormiou and have a nice yard and pool that guest can enjoy.

The hostess was very nice and showed us some tips to Les Calanques. The room was nice and comfortable. Nice swimming pool.

Wifi was weak and only available in front of the room or in garden and not in the room. Streetlights came through the curtains at night.

The location is perfect if you wish to visit calanques by foot. The host shared useful tips how to go to Marseille and to calanques. Also shared some restaurants with us. There is a street parking but we always found a place so not a big issue. And there is also a cute dog guarding the house. She likes to be pet and she's super quite.

The smell of dust and humidity. Missing aircondition as during summer is really hot.
