B&B HOTEL Marseille Prado Vélodrome

The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff is nice and willing to help, the location is not very central, but near metro station and has several great beaches within a short ride (or half hour if you walking by foot). Breakfast was very unimpressive except fruit salad, which consisted mostly of pineapple (delicious!) Right after booking we received a message from the staff, instructing us which metro line we need to take and which station to get out on to reach the hotel - which is great and super helpful, cannot understand why other hotels don't do that

Price for breakfast is more or less standard, but breakfast itself is quite disappointing: not much to chose from, and what is served is very average at best. Fruit salad was not bad, but looked weird, probably because it was standing there from the early morning (i hope they don't reuse yesterday's fruit salads). There's a coffee automat in the hall offering coffees with fancy flavor and also soup very cheap, but I absolutely do not recommend - very watery, barely any flavor, the one they offer for breakfast is much better

The location, for any event at the Velodrome, is UNBEATABLE! The rooms were clean and the bed firm but comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is unbelievably quiet, which is a wonderful surprise after a rugby match at the stadium!

The hotel is quite utilitarian, but at this price point that's neither a surprise nor an issue. The bathroom is a bit small, but that's really the only very minor actual complaint--we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and would gladly stay again for any event at the Velodrome.

Perfectly located for events (like the Rugby world cup game) with a nice garden area and patio where you can enjoy the extensive breakfast or just chill out during the day. The two dogs were also happy to have access to a walking area just around the corner and within easy walking distance to the shopping centre and many restaurants. We could even walk to the beaches (30 min)

The hotel was charging a PREMIUM for the nights of the big game, but that is to be expected. The normal rates is value for money.

All was great, especially friendly and helpful staff! (also helped to contact to car rental service after an accident). Quiet and comfortable room. Location is 5 minutes walk to metro. Breakfast was really good with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, plus regular French things.

Suggestion for guests with a car: In the message right after booking there are some advice about parking places and where also mentioned the possibility to park on the nearest Boulevard for free. If you rent a car - DO NOT DO IT. Better park in a parking lot for a price. It can save a half day of your time for exploring in case of accident with a car. We had a broken window on the morning of checking out. The car rental employee said that it's often case especially with rental cars.

The location was fine for me. The hotel is very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I could even find everything for my diet. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful. I arrived in the night and the receptionist was very kind. Everyone during my stay spoke english, which is good in France :) I am really satisfied :)

I had to pay extra for parking. I'd better prefer to choose during booking. But I do not have anything else.

Location is close to the conferences hall and the Metro station. Supermarkets are nearby. The breakfast was fair. The room was cleaned daily. Quiet environment. The communication was excellent. They offered an early breakfast understanding the fasting of Ramadan.

The pillows were not comfortable. No insect net on the window so I opened the window a mosquito entered the room. Small stains on the duvet cover. A bit far from the touristic places such as the old port.

It was ok, considering the money we paid, but I wouldn't stay more than 1 night. The room was large enough for the 4 of us, the children had separate beds.

Quite a few: 1. the smell on the hallways is awful 2. there were no pillows, we had to ask for them 3. there is no free parking; there are 2 options, one is less expensive, but unsafe and the 2nd one is far too expensive (25 euro/24 h) 4. the lady at the reception was a bit dizzy, took a lot of time to make the check-in, didn't know much about parking fees or conditions to make recommendation (we found out from the guardian there the less expensive parking wasn't safe) and she would give us to pillows if we carried them, which we refused, so she had to bring them to our room 5. the bathroom door didn't close

Super close to the stadium! The people working there are very nice and helpful. We ended up booking a room for 1.5 weeks later even though the prices were high during the rugby world cup.

For parking you need to make a reservation in advance. Maybe it was due to the rugby world cup. I would recommend adding parking immediately!

The room was nice, air conditioning was really handy, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fresh bedding/towels were available everyday. Was close to the metro stop and a beach which was great. Checkin and checkout was really easy and convenient.

Entering the wifi details every few hours gets a tad tedious but that was the only issue.

Simple and clean. We just stayed one night. We choosed this hotel because it was close to the Stadium and the kids wanted to visit it. We recomand it for short visit.

The family room was actually a ♿ room. So the bathroom 🚽 was too high and one of my kids was complaining that he has to climb it😄
