Mercure Marseille Centre Prado Vélodrome

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The accommodations were absolutely lovely - my room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby each night. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options - the food was simply outstanding. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was expertly prepared and delicious, with a range of options to suit all tastes. Overall, I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable experience. The staff, amenities, and location were all exceptional, and I can't wait to return for another visit.

I was disappointed because I have breakfast early and wanted to come back before 11 to have a second coffee. One member of staff said that was fine and was chasing (she was not French). The next day a French girl who acted like the superior of the other waitress said that no guest was allowed to come back for coffee and that if everyone did that it was 'n'importe quoi' and that she was going to tell off the nice non-French girl from the day before. I think this was outrageous. I think if a client pays more than 12 euros for breakfast they should have the right to come back for a coffee. I have been in other hotels where there is not such a stupid rule.

the staff was very nice and friendly and make you feel home especially an Algerian girl i didn’t save her name ( from Souk Ahras ) she was so sweet the location is very good , close to many restaurants or caffe or shops , close also to metro station . also a big thanks to the housekeeper lady who found my AirPods and and came to give me before I leave hotel

absolutely nothing

My room was extremely clean, bright and comfortable. The breakfast area was very spacious and bright, with a good selection of food and drinks. The location is great, with the metro a five minute walk away and the sea about twenty minutes on foot. (from where you can follow the coast all the way to the city centre). I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and thought it was exceptional.

I don’t think anything is mentioned about the deposit when you are booking! Was unpleasantly surprised to find out have to pay 200 euros before I get to the room. haven’t received my deposit yet. cleaners knocking on the door and entering the room any time they like. nothing mentioned about city taxes got to pay in France.

Splendid breakfast! Very nice & professional personnel in reception & breakfast room. Really nice that we got the opportunity to upgrade our room, for a small extra fee, to a Junior Suite for the last night: what an amazing terrasse & view, thank you.

It was too warm in the Classic rooms, air-conditioning was not used by the hotel at that time of the year.

The room was very clean. It was blessed with an abundance of natural light. The bed and the pillows ensured a good night's rest. The breakfast was sumptuous and of a high standard.

The toilet is tiny. I mean really tiny. In order to close the door you are obliged to sidle along the edge of the wall within the narrow space between the toilet bowl and the wall. It was the only negative factor.

The staff was truly attentive, The hotel is 15 minutes by foot from a beach and close enough from both buses and subway, making it evenly located. Organic supermarket (Bio c'Bon) literally right next door. Nice fitness room

The staff was not perfectly informed about what was included in my booking, some of them told me I had a free bottle of water each day, plus other drinks, and some told me it was only one bottle once. I would have found it nice if they were all attuned 😇

Clean, nice design, excellent location, comfortable room.

Reception did not explain that there is direct corridor to car park. This would have saved us lot of time as we parked outside to take our luggage into hotel. Would be useful to mention garage access on hotel website.

everything: very clean, well located for public transportation (beach, downtown), nice staff (reception and at breakfast), excellent breakfast

nothing . as it is located in a nice and busy area , you may be affected by the noise from the traffic outside .
