Proximity to Mont St Michel can’t be beat. La Digue itself is an annex to Relais St Michel across the street, which is where check-in and meals take place. Staff was scarce, brusque and obviously overworked on our visit in September, so don’t expect to find someone around. The lone exception is restaurant manager Billy, who is personable, extremely helpful and speaks English. He even managed to dig up some bread and cheese for the four of us who arrived hungry after lunch service with no restaurants open. Breakfast was great and view from restaurant spectacular. Free shuttles take you to the Mont, but watch out for drivers, who appeared willing to mow down anyone standing in the wrong spot.

No elevators, no staff to speak of except helpful restaurant manager. Seldom anyone at front desk.

The location and view really amazing.. Would like to recomend people stay 2nights if wanna have a relax trip.. Bfast also very good! The transport to the hotel not able to search from internet but is really convenience. Take direct train from Paris alight at pontorson station, connect to bus number 2 to reach hotel easily and catch the same ride for return trip. You will never get the fantastic view if taking day tour to this place.

A nice, clean room with a good bed. We stayed on the first floor and had a nice balcony. The room is clean, nice bathroom. The breakfast good. Check in and breakfast was at the hotel on the other side ( Le Relais Saint Michel) Excellent location, next to the bridge with the best view on Mont Michel. You can walk to Mont Michel about 25 minutes or take the shuttle bus which is leaving right in front of the hotel.

We had to pay €9,80 for parking at the hotel. When you go of you have to pay again. ( acces is after a barrier where you need an acces code). Breakfast: they need more staff to clean the tables and refill items. Now we had a table without cups. Bread/coffee machine/ orange juice are refilled but takes sometimes long time. If you are on time breakfast is very well and you can choose everything you need.

The location as many have said is great. The navette (shuttle ) to Le Mont Saint Michelle stops right in front of the hotel But I never saw the Hotel shuttle. This navette is the same that takes you from the bus stop if you are coming on the bus. My single room was very small but enough for me. It wouldn’t be confortable for two people. you get the basics for $150 dollars a night, but I think you are paying for the location

Because I have read such bad reviews, I was surprised that I couldn’t find some horrible objection to the hotel. The situation with the restaurant is bad because you wait a long time, but the two waiters were working very hard . They don’t have enough personal. It may be because the general shortage of workers in the industry. Making a reservation might help. I didn’t do that, and I waited a long time for dinner The breakfast was self served and good. I enjoyed it and was included in the price . if you don’t want to use that restaurant (it has an amazing view) you can take the Navette and go to Galleries Mont Saint Michel stop . There are two other restaurants there.

It was all we expected, comfortable and almost clean unless a little spider nets on the roof which is normal in an humid place by the sea😍 thank you for this good located hotel 👍🏽🙏🏽the free bus station is just next to the hotel door ☺️we were happy of our choice

Just the check in and check out time is a little unfair ; we did the reservation for one night and two days but the check in time is 4 o’clock in the afternoon and check out is 11in the morning it means we did not even spend 24 hours in our room but we payed an amount for 2days and one night

The breakfast was good and the view from the breakfast table was magnificent. The location of our room was really great with a fantastic view. We only booked the room for one night but was so happy about staying there so we asked the reception if we could stay another night. Even though the hotel was almost fully booked the following day, the receptionist was very kind and found a solution for us so we could stay another night. We really appreciate all her help.

This is maybe not up to the hotel but the parking was extremely expensive.

What a little gem! We arrived quite late but Merci to Alain the receptionist who took great care of us. The restaurant/bar was being renovated during our stay so the breakfast was served at the Relais opposite. Great view of Mont-St-Michel and the food was excellent and location was all we could have hoped for.

It was very close to the walkway to the Mont. The shuttle bus just outside the hotel was convenient too.

I didn't know that it was like an annex to another hotel, so breakfast was across the road. The room was fine but the mirror lights in the bathroom and the telephone to the reception weren't functioning. I asked if it was possible to get a room with a view but the word 'possible' didn't mean that I would get it !! Infact, I didn't.

Wow! We were so pleased with this room - the view was amazing! Although we thought we had booked a room with Hotel de la Digue, we actually got a room at Le Relais St Michel. Large comfortable bed and a quiet room, waking to a view of Mont St. Michel. The breakfast buffet offered a varied choice and our dinner in the restaurant was delicious - both meals again had the wonderful backdrop of the abbey. Check in and out was easy and the reception staff was pleasant and helpful in explaining the shuttle schedule, which stopped right outside the hotel. Parking was close and convenient.

Basic hotel but right beside the island. Large room with comfy bed, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. Parking on site. Booking.com must tell you that you need a code to enter the island complex as it causes queues phoning the hotel to get one. Good reasonable price for a good night's sleep in walking distance of mont st michel.
