Room was good size (we had the one equipped for disabled although we are not disabled). Staff, lead by Simon, were brilliant and friendly. Nothing was too much. Location is about 15 to 20mins walk from the centre but that means you get to see another part of Nantes and sample the local cafes, bars and restaurants. the "Black Pearl Café" round the corner is a great place to see and witness the locals and grab a coffee, beer or glass of wine. Good parking in the basement for my motorcycle.

The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the city centre. David welcomed us on our arrival. He went to assist us with parking at the hotel. The car park is €12 a day however it is underground & our multivan couldn’t fit in. We quickly realised this and David offered a solution which was extremely helpful. Checkin was straightforward, thanks to David. Our room was spacious & clean. Beds were comfy, shutters on the window so we slept well. Overall we had a very pleasant experience at Hotel Belfort. Thank you again David for being so friendly and for helping us.

The reception staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area, restaurant recommendations - he even offered to find a restaurant and make bookings for us as most restaurants were closed on a bank holiday.

The bathroom was spotlessly clean, but the bathroom furniture was not built sensibly (radiator blocking half of the towel rack, shower door blocking the shower mat, mirror shelf blocking access to the sink).

There was a kettle in the room, it was cozy and the check-out was until 12. Also, the staff was very friendly and interested in our travel.

The wifi didn’t work after about half an hour of use, there were already some spots on the blanket and there were some missing tiles in the shower, so it was nicer to stay in it with slippers on.

Great location in the center, 5 minutes walk from the Château des ducs de Bretagne and 1 minute from the river Loire, but still in quite a quiet street and excellent windows, so no noise in the room. Air-condition was cooling great, wi-fi was fast, I got a parking in a garage below the hotel. Reception and bar are open 24/7, which is useful. Great shower, clean place, comfortable bed.

There is no fridge in the room. And a bottle of water as a welcome gift would be appreciated.

Highly recommended this hotel. I just found this in booking.cok and read the reviews and i experienced it And very happy with their staff name soraya... She was very accommodating and friendly, helpful..... Big points for her!!!

The staff is wonderful and the place is very central.

The floor of the shower was missing some tiles, which could be potentially dangerous and the room temperature can only be changed by calling the reception, though there is a control in the room.

The staff are what make this hotel. The overall look is a touch ‘90s, but in a fun time capsule kind of way. The three staff we interacted with were completely delightful. Helpful, kind and fun, without being over the top. the location and value are also superb. You can pay more and get a bit more, but why would you?

Refrigerator missing. The terrace, tough wide, was non fully equipped and seemed somewhat under renewal.
