Bristol Nice

The staff were lovely, and very accommodating. They let us store our baggage whilst waiting for our room to be ready ( we were a few hours early ), it was perfectly located , right by the train station, tram station and beach all close by and near a lidl which was great . Made check in really easy and comfortable and staff were easy to communicate with (I don’t speak French so the English spoken was helpful). Then room was spacious and very clean and had a really nice shower .

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property

Two minutes walk from Nice main train station yet away from traffic and noise. Wonderful and very friendly welcome and someone always available at the desk ready to help and offer information. The rooms are very clean and even though at times small, they are well laid out and very well provided with towels and necessities. Air conditioning very efficient you can choose to use or not in very room. Top class cleanliness all round, and lift to take you and your luggage up to all floors. Excellent and fresh breakfast , and very efficient and friendly staff . Will certainly be back. Can't wait.

We can't think of anything we did not like.

Excellent choice! Exceptionally friendly stuff (gave us the room with the terrace, the cattle and the hairdryer upon our request) and cleaners, spotlessly clean and exceptionally maintained, very stylish and the location is superb (everything is close, yet still preserves a local and very authentic ambiance) and safe. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and clean. The variety of lamps and lights in the room makes it very photogenic.

Maybe equipping every room with a cattle, coffee/tea cups would benefit the costumers who don't have breakfast in the hotel.. but when I got ill and asked for a cattle, they provided it immediately for the rest of our stay..❤️❤️

Hotel located in front of the station. The location is very good, there are many eateries nearby, and the supermarket is nearby. Can be reached on foot. It's a bit far from the department store and the beach, but it's acceptable. The hotel is tidy and clean, but the space is extremely small, and it is even difficult to open the luggage. There are inevitably minor problems in the room, even the sound insulation is not good, and the shower space is also small, but it is acceptable. This is pretty much the case with hotels in the city.

hotel staff commented that our group of 5 has too many pieces of luggage and they did not have sufficient luggage storage within their concierge and requested us to leave near the restaurant counter bar. they didn’t allow for late check out either .

Nice is expensive. We choose this hotel because it was not THAT expensive. And it was a good choise. It's near of the train station and of one big commercial avenue. There're lots of restaurants and coffees nearby. And quite close to the beach, too. Rooms are small but OK and beds are comfortable.

We knew it but there were no parking. Firts night we left the car in the Notre Damme Parking and it coast us 42 euros. Next night we left it in the Interparking of the Central Station and it only coas 18...

Location is just the best! Lots of asian restaurants close to the hotel! Quiet surroundings! I will go there again when in Nice for sure. Bathroom was very clean, complimentary shampoo. No beach towels so bring your own or buy for 15ish euro close to the beach. We ate breakfast in a Hug cafe 3 min walk from hotel. I travelled with my teenage daughter and we liked our stay very much! You literally have train station behind the hotel with an easy access to Cannes and Monaco Monte Carlo!

I didn’t expect anything more.

The hotel is very well located in terms of location, excellent value for money, very good accommodation conditions and hospitable staff. The hotel room received (room 15, 1st floor) was spacious enough, nicely decorated, very clean, with good facilities and a comfortable bed. Location very close to the train station, tram L2 (for the Airport direction), L1 (for connections with other means of transport for various trips outside Nice). Also, Hotel Bistrol is located in the heart of the old center, near the main commercial area of ​​the city where you can find a wide variety of shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets. Access to the historic center, Parc du Mont Boron, Colline du Chateau, Beach, Promenade des anglais, Port Lympia, can be done easily, at a leisurely ritm, the distances are not very long. Public transport is very well organized and very accessible. From Nice, you can make many trips to the beautiful surrounding villages and towns, both by train and buses.

The internet connection at certain times of the day, was quite weak.

Good location near the train station and main road for shops and restaurants. Very modern hotel with spacious rooms.

There is no sound proofing between rooms and you can hear everything. The people next to me were very loud very late into the night.

The location is few meters to the train station, the thing that made exploring the beutiful nearby area (Villefranche-sur-Mer, Cap Ferrat...) really smooth. The room interior is very cosy and clean. The property offers the option of a room with a balcony for free (which gives more space and fresh vibes to the room)
