Spotlessly clean modern hotel. Unusually comfy bed. Large shower Plentiful tasty breakfast 24 hr reception manned by polite, pleasant and helpful staff. Near main railway station ideal to explore nearby places.

Location a good half an hour energetic walk from iconic Promenade des Anglais. Toilet flush would take a long while to refill, leaving a second flush impossibile for the next person. King size bed too large for size of room.

Modern room, clean and quiet. Location was good, 10 minutes walk from the station. Fresh water available to replenish water bottles. Breakfast available each morning.

I didn't like the fact, I had to use my card to put down €80 deposit, for the bar in our room. We never use the bars, as they are too expensive. Having to use my card incures fees, and an exchange rate fee as well. This should be optional and the bar cleared if you do not want it, or locked. I will have to check my bank account when home, to see if my deposit went back in? Or how long it takes to get it back.

I had an amazing stay ! The staff were so kind, the room was much better than i expected, the breakfast was also nice. Sheets were clean, bed comfy, shower perfectly working, the balcony was a big plus (although the view wasn't any special). At first, the lighting system was complicated for me but i figured it out thanks to their help. The hotel is close to the tramway (Station Thiers) & train station (Gare Nice-ville), to the main shopping street (Jean Médecin), to the mall (Nicetoile) and only few minutes walk to Masséna & promenade des anglais. Nice is such a beautiful city and the hotel made my stay even more delightful. Can't wait to be back !

Not enough space for clothes especially for our 5 nights stay.. Room very small .Parking far from the hotel for more than 30 euros per night. We manage to park near by for free between 20 till 9 . We hire the car just for two days, otherwise is a headache to park on the streets in Nice. Overall we had good stay and the hotel is good transport hub. Near by buses and tram few minutes away

Very comfortable quiet room. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for the train station and there is a handy tram stop at the end of the road with trams running into the centre every few minutes. There are lots of traditional and ethnic restaurants nearby.

Not too happy about the deposit of 80 euros against items consumed from the minibar. The charge seems excessive and it is not possible to cancel the deposit at check out. I mentioned my concerns to the staff member on reception and he kindly sent me an email later in the day to confirm nothing had been taken from the minibar. Most hotels just ask the question at checkout and trust their clients to give an honest answer.

The hotel is in an excellent location, there is a good traffic connection with the airport and the surrounding cities. The breakfast is great and varied, and the hotel employees are friendly, especially the guys at the reception who are exceptional and very welcoming to guests.

Breakfast could have been a little better for a 4 star hotel. More hot and cold options would have been nice. There was no table service for drinks - Breakfast was fully self service

Friendly staff, lovely room, very welcoming, delicious breakfast, cold water and lovely coffee/tea/ hot chocolate available free from the lobby whenever you want it, comfy bed, lovely interior design.

From the moment we checked in we felt very welcome and praise to Olivier for his attention and help with our booking and check in. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel and room was very clean. The bedding was comfortable and shower very good (rain forest). The location was excellent being near the L1 tram and the main shopping area and only 3 stops to the old town. If you see coming from the airport I recommend ignoring Google maps and instead of getting off at Durandy on L2 and walking 10 min get off at Jean Medécin and transferring to the L1 for one stop to Gare Thiers and it is a much shorter walk, also it is the same tram ticket as you can transfer within 74 min (important if you have cases and are not so young anymore). Breakfast was generally good (see below). It suited me as I like continental.

For my travelling partner who likes a hot breakfast the cooked food was never really hot enough and as it is the same food every day it was not as good for him. One comment about the room which is a design flaw so I saw no point in raising with staff.... The lighting is not sufficient especially at the clothes storage area (we were in a corner room over the entrance), and as the shelving is dark it was hard to see our clothes, shoes etc. Due to the size of the room the end of the bed is very near the curtains and so we tripped a number of times either over the curtain or the duvet. Lastly as a woman the lack of shelving in the bathroom around the sink was an issue. Maybe a shelving unit could be added as there is lots at room in that area for one?

Liked · Reception was extremely helpful, enabling us to spend a wonderful day at Entrevaux, using the picturesque train line into the mountains. The quality of the food at breakfast was better than the offering of a five star hotel stayed at the previous nights. You have to make your own decision on location - very convenient for the station if you are travelling along the coast but not so convenient for eating out or experiencing Nice's sea front buzz in the evenings. For that you will need to use the tram but the system works well once you have mastered the ticket machine. A well run, comfortable and modern hotel.

Apart from the pictures of lavender etc., this hotel could have been anywhere in western Europe. If you are looking for something that recalls Nice in its heyday this is not for you. The location is a rather shabby area but we never felt uncomfortable.
